*** Sorry just saw this thread *** but would still love feedback on the if the PowerBuilt would work with the 37's

Looking for feedback on what kind of jack folks are taking off-road for their Raptors or Broncos with 37+ tires. I've read through a few different threads and the two leading candidates seem to be Safe Jack and PowerBuilt. I was initially leaning towards the PowerBuilt after seeing quite a few folks carrying one and the price is great but is the lift enough for a Bpraptor's clearance? The rear seems like it could be sufficient but the front seems close... Had also looked at the Pro Eagle but it's way too bulky. Would love any recommendations - Thanks!

I "think" I read you need 24" of lift. There's a big thread with lots of options over on the Bronco Raptor forum without all the Jack Reacher memes. Probably worth a read as there are a few other options listed..

If you want a minimalist "every day carry" jack, (as I posted...) the Torin 12 ton hydraulic bottle jack (ATH91207AR) can definitely get fronts and rears lifted enough for a basic tire change in a Raptor. I rested it personally. It's quite small.
You definitely don't need all of those extensions and adapters in the large (i.e. heavy, bulky) kit you posted.

If you want a garage/shop jack you may want something different.

Nope, nowhere close to that is needed. You just need to pick clever jack points and about 5" of stroke.

Clever and safe are two different things. Elaborate!

I use the a-arm pivot point in front, its not going to slip there. in the rear I use the axle next to the LCAs so that doesnt move either. I have a simple Toyota non hydraulic screw jack that doesnt take up any space.

I use the Safejack. It, along with all of the extensions, fits perfectly in the cubby under the cargo cover.

Indeed, clever nay not have been the best diction.

Similar (probably identical) to what @vrtical said. Bottom of lower control arm in the front and the lower surface of the lower rear control arm mount below the axle.

These points are safe and critically permit a fairly low jack travel to get a wheel off the ground.

Last, but not least, even if these locations weren't safe or are less safe than others, there just isn't much real risk/exposure when simply changing a tire. Laying down wrenching under one's rig is entirely different.

Is that plastic box strong enough for all of that heavy metal when also wheeling hard?

Very nice scissor jack, but man it's HUGE...
It really only seems large next to what came with my ride. As we all know, what Ford ships with Bronco’s is a little on the skinny side right out of the gate.

I kinda prefer the mechanical simplicity of this To other options.

Had it in my first Bronco since near day 1, wheeled hard. Now it’s in the Raptor, wheel that one hard too. The box is fine. I keep a few rags around it all but I don’t think that’s even necessary.

Appreciate the recommendation - I'll check out the Torin! Definitely looking for something portable for the trail and not a garage jack. Really thought I was going to need something in the excess of 21 inches for the front so these jack point suggestions are helpful as well.

NP. Always takes a bit of time with a new rig to make sure you've got your bases covered.

The Torin is quite inexpensive and likely made in China. It's not my typical level of quality for my purchases. I'm definitely more of a "but once, cry once" kind of a person. As long as it's two seals hold out, it should serve it's purpose.

If you or anyone knows of a similar, compact, hydraulic, bottle jack, of better origin or quality, I'd love to know about it.

Let us know your choice.
