If you dont offroad your raptor you are better off keeping the stock live valves. If you feel a need to upgrade , Fox may release the racing series which works with live valves eventually.

The king setup is more for someone wanting more than the stock shocks are capable of offroad. If you have ever done a high speed raptor offroad run, you will see the limits real quick of the stock live valves as you get left in the dust lol by all the modded suspension raptors.

Yep, out of the box the live valves are good. but it doesnt handle like this (disregard the power advantage and just watch the shocks work.

although the kings I had on my OBX were a blast on the street. I’d say stick to the factory fox’s no point if you wanna keep the oem functionality.

if your looking for a upgrade tho on the trails then I’d say jump on the kings especially since there will be options to adjust whether it’s through king or SDI someone will make a adjuster for the braptor and king shocks

I am with Tye on this one. I was just complaining to the off road shop that the Braptor suspension is too soft for high speed desert runs. I tend to off road with F150 Raptors with mid travel kits and a few built trucks. Power wise I can keep up. But the suspension plus the shorter wheel base makes the Bronco Raptor really need the additonal dampening if you want to drive it agressive in the desert. I really can't tell much of a differencee, in the suspension modes live valves. Not sure I will miss it especially off road where It is always in the stiff setting.

Yup, the Braptor (and stock F-150 Raptor) both need suspension mods much more than power mods for high speed work (with any considerable bumps/whoops).

The factory electronically adjustable shocks are a great all around compromise for street, crawling and still best in class desert running. It just cant touch a mid travel kit with really good fully passive shocks on the high speed front.
