if your main requirement is just to have 35s, you can get just about any trim that has the SAS package. might open up more options at different price points doing that instead of focusing only on the more offroad targeted models that you wont really be using for that purpose anyways.

35s are not required, would just match everything else except the Hyundai...for now

As everyone has said, both are overkill for street use as the options are focused on off-road use.

Overkill for the street, yes. But just look proper IMO. And would go off-road occasionally but nothing crazy.

I was going to buy new but prices are crazy, so I have found a couple used ones that I am interested in.

Just looking for the main differences, I have a RZR for fun so the Bronco will be a daily driver with probably no off-roading.......

For your use, either a Base model or a Big Bend will be all you need, saving you some money.

I dunno. His location is Winnipeg, and I had a friend that lived there and complained about the bitter cold. I think she said there was a lot of snow and ice as well. Standard base or big bend risks not having 4A, and if I lived up there I think I might be willing to spend more for the peace of mind that 4A brings me in bad weather.

My guess is that the HOSS 3.0 is going to feel better than the Badlands' suspension, it's got a bit more power, and it's not lugging around armor that isn't needed, though it (the armor) might be useful for blocking other things underneath from road salt.

If money's an issue though, the Badlands is significantly cheaper. Personally, I think I'd want the Wildtrak but be willing to pay for the Badlands.

Winnipeg yes, -45 celsius some days.

1 -2 feet of snow regularly.

40 minute commute 1 way from the country.

Money is always important but not too much.

Just found a 2024 2 Door, Badlands on a lot 2 hours away......going to look tomorrow.

Buy once, cry once. The WildTrak is HOSS 3.0, heavy duty steering rack, V6, and a year newer model. If it is a lux or high package, that is the one I would get.

Dealers are discounting '24 cad 15K and should be able to get 8-10k of '25.

Badlands has the sta bar disconnect. Since it will primarily used on road, that feature will help running up on curbs.

Don’t be thinking about good gas mileage,if it’s going to be a daily driver. SAS gives it the look that other models just don’t look as good. Unless you lift it. Outer banks would be your better bet if you can find one. With all recalls aside, its a fun vehicle to drive.

25 badlands sas here and have zero issues on the highway.
my only regret was should have went with Hoss 3 on WT. easy fix though as my Fox setup will be here soon

All I know when test driving the SAS and various lifted models on highway they felt like the would roll in a sudden evasive maneuver like avoiding animal, flying tire, stopped car, car crash etc or just an idiot on the phone going 40 in a 70 zone. Mind you that was coming from HPP Mustang that was on rails. I think it's the tires mostly plus high center of gravity and soft suspension with minimal anti sway bar.

For that reason alone I did not get and wasn't even going to get a Bronco till I changed on my brand new 2023 at heavy discount in a small town.

I would like however to upgrade my dampers with no lift.....is it possible? 98% street driven trashed roads rest is back roads....

Yes, there are coilovers with adjustable “no” lift.
Possibly shocks also but I always go up a bit and have not looked

You could run the Bilsteins from the Badlands non-sasquatch (it's a 1/2" of lift, by but handling improved on-road over the factory Hitachi shocks). You will notice the better handling more than the 1/2" of lift could ever reduce it.

Comments like this always amaze me. You get a body on frame truck with 10+ inches of ground clearance on 35’s and you expect it to handle like a 3k lb. car. (and which you most likely never use off-road)

Top bad no active suspension.....no one is judging..... OP has questions I offered one perspective as a similar user...no expectations were expressed or implied I just conveyed experience of back to back highway drives of he different models.

As a frequent KTM mountain dirt biker I'm well atuned to weight and suspension calibration and had zero handling expectations of Bronco in general other that body lean and brake dive which makes it all that more fun!
