First new Ford- coming from all MANUAL transmission Wranglers and Xterras. This manual in the Bronco sold me on this vehicle.....I love it!
Agree! If the Bronco wasn't available with a manual, I would not own this vehicle.

This is a completely random question just to mix things up a bit. How many of you are first time Ford owners due to your Bronco?
Let's see.

I think it's my 13th.

All but three of those were manuals. If Bronco didn't have a manual, I'd have bought another Mustang.

We've NEVER bought an American car brand before yet driven for 38 years.
Until my last 2 vehicles we've never owned non-Japanese as we bought 2 VWs <-- NEVER AGAIN
ALL manual transmission vehicles.

Our Bronco, which we take delivery this Saturday will replace my wife's 2012 XTerra Pro4X with 226k miles.

Hopefully we aren't disappointed with Ford's quality, although we are hedging by buying the 7/125k extended warranty as our dealer is matching Flood/Granger pricing.

First and only Ford for me.

Only my 3rd vehicle in my driving life. (1986 OG Acura Integra and 2004 BMW 330i). The only reason I have the Bronco is because I could get it with a 3rd pedal. If it didn't come with a manual, I would not be a Ford owner.

I keep my cars for a long time, if the Bronco doesn't have major issues, it will probably be the last vehicle I ever own. (I do still have my BMW too).

Yeah, first one.....I've really never been tied to one brand, although I do miss my Toyota pickup:

'89 Jeep Cherokee XJ
'93 Acura Integra
'93 Toyota Pickup 4x4, single cab, manual (loved this truck)
'07 JKU (180k miles, beat the hell out of it)
'23 JLU (I thought I'd skip my Bronco order, sold it for more than I paid for it with 14k miles)
'23 Bronco (test drove it and the manual in it was far superior to the Jeep amongst other things)

I'm pretty easy on my vehicles, I 4 wheel the Jeep and Bronco probably a half a dozen times a year or so, I'm in coastal SC so options are limited. I don't really get on them too hard, and I change the oil regularly. All in all, I've never really had a major problem with any of them, although the JKU had a catalytic converter going most of it's life, oil leak, and various other problems.

Do you miss that Mustang? Seems like most Mustang owners prefer the Bronco, but that's a limited sample and you drove a classic.
2 doors, red, stick shift. Except the Bronco doesn't hurt my back crawling into it since it's not 4" off the ground.

Mustang was by far the superior convertible experience though.

First Ford.

Nicely integrated “whole product” experience for the product managers out there who may understand that reserved word phrase. Better than other car companies I’ve experienced.

Previous: Chevy, Audi, Saturn, Jeep.

others currently: Camaro, Toyota, Subaru

My first Ford was a 1980 Bronco with the then new TTB that I ordered. Purchase price was around $9,000 brand new if memory serves. It was pretty spartan.

First time Ford owner here. Never even test drove a Ford before my Bronco. I love my Bronco and intend on staying with a Bronco for a very very long time. It’s my dream vehicle. My kids will be driving age in 5 years and will consider a baby Bronco for them. I’ve enjoyed the Ford experience thus far (2.5 years).
Thank you for being a part of the Ford family Ted! Happy to hear you love your Bronco. :)
