My 2024 Badlands was my first new Ford.

Otherwise, there have been some Fords in my (distant) past:

1967 Galaxy 500 Convertible (390 cid)
1971 Ford Cortina (2 dr)
1973 Gran Torino Country Squire Wagon (460 cid)
1973 Mustang Coupe (302 cid)
1978 Mercury Cougar XR7 (351 cid)

Every one of them rotted away with the engines still running great. Afterwards a bunch of Hondas,Subarus and P/U trucks (GMC and RAM) until the Bronco.

It is hard to believe that the 7.5 Litre Torino only made 217 horses…..

No. I started working at the local Ford dealership right out of high school. Over the years I've had one VW Rabbit, one Dodge Caravan, two Honda Accords and all the rest were fords. Ranger Xtra Cab, two Bronco II's, two Explorers, a Bronco Sport and an F-150 Raptor. And then the Bronco BD Sasquatch was born.

Wasted a ton of đź’°on German cars and old Jeeps over the years. Decided I don't want to work forever to support a car habit. First Ford and, so far, digging it.

no. had an 2001 lightning (when they were cool) then a 2003 cobra and finally a 2013 boss302 (maybe the best car i've ever owned). I am sort of in the market for a gt500 in heritage blue but that is on the back burner as i don't really want to get rid of my redeye.

edit: wait forgot my first car was a 1989 mustang gt. so that makes 4 before the bronco.

My first Ford was a 07 CVPI, then into a 98 2wd 2.3 ranger, a 2010 2wd 2.3 ranger, 2021 4x4 ranger, then the bronco (2.3) and then bought another 2wd 2.3 96 ranger last year.

I really like Ford 2.3s apparently lol.. owned every iteration of them. Even my Ford V8 was to scale with my 4cyls.. 2.3 i4→4.6 v8

No, I have had many- starting with a 1971 Bronco, then traded that for a 1970 Bronco a year later. They were very used though but very reliable in my college years. And I beat them 4 wheeling. Then all brand new- an F150 in the early 90's, another F150- year 2000, then a 2003 Escape, two Ford Edges- a 2007, then a 2010. I had a couple of Mustang GT's too I just remembered. Latest is my current 2022 Ford Bronco. Now that I listed all of my Fords I didn't realize that all of them have been pretty much trouble and hassle free. The Escape I put the most miles of any vehicle I ever owned- almost 90K miles. It was perfect like the day I got it when I sold it. I love my current Bronco and plan to keep it a long time.

1988 Ford Ranger SuperCab XLT 4x4, Manual, no air… was a fantastic comfortable truck though required many mods to fit 33x12.5x15 BFG MTs. I ordered my Heritage Edition without ever sitting in a Bronco expecting the interior to be every bit as good as that Ranger was… and factory 35’s 🤯

Yep, my first Ford of any kind (hence my handle) and I've been driving my own cars for 45+ years. Except for the (gaak!) used Chrysler minivan back when our kids were little, I'd never owned any domestic vehicle. All were Toyotas, Hondas, Datsun/Nissans, and BMWs.

I was really hooked when the Bronco was announced. First time ever that Ford had a vehicle that I was even remotely interested in. Had to wait just short of 2 years after ordering it before it arrived. When it looked like Ford might cancel my order, there simply wasn't anything else comparable that I'd have been interested in. It's combination of off-road capability, looks and comfortable ride on the highway is way above anything else I've found.

Totally happy with the Bronco. Not as happy with the dealership and the buying experience, but not so much that I've considered firing them.

First new Ford, although I had Crown Vic ex-taxi that was given to me by a neighbor as payment for some installations I did about 16 years ago. It had 360k on it, and only lasted me about 6 months.
