You may know the trail. Citico Creek just north of Indian Boundary Lake above Tellico Plains. Its not particularly off camber, but not flat once going up the mountain. Speeds... no more than 15mph, sometimes slower to look at the scenery.
I see where the threat went, but curious if one could use both the main tank (30 gallon) AND the Aux tank for 46 gallons in all.
I can see the draw of having these if one were overlanding in places where fuel is hard to find (NW Territories).
Ok. This weekend I tried 8/2/2 for LSC, HSC, and JCO on the street and it rode very well. The ride was tight and controlled but absorbed potholes just fine.
Offroad, I tried 2/2/2 for LSC, HSC, and JCO. These are close to what Sean Bowman used in his video. The trail I did was mostly...

Hmm. I wonder what quantifies "too high" though. I might try what cjflexmaster suggested and raise the LSC to something higher...but, I thought that if it's too high, it won't flex as well offroad.
I'm curious if some settings or combination of Low/High/JCO could increase or decrease the noise. I'm still testing settings every week or so in search of the best setups.
It's a bit more than a click to my ears, more of a clank, but again, only on the most demanding bumps and only on the front shocks. I'm running 4/3/5 right now and its good offroad and on the road, but I'm always trying new settings every week. I may mess with the JCO more to see if I can feel a...
At 10:35 he mentions that he hasn't heard the JCO engage, just rattles in the back from stuff in the truck. He then says anybody that complains about that (noise) is "trippin". :)
Granted, he had the windows up. For me out on the trail at slow speeds, I don't hear it except when I pick up the...
I watched the Shock Surplus video where Bowman mentioned that he didn't hear the noise when testing these. I have also read that the nitrogen fill could be low. Also odd that the noise is only from the front shocks and not the rears on mine. It's not an issue with the windows up in the cab, but...

For those that are currently running the 8112's, have or are you experiencing the clacking noise from the shocks (particularly in the front) when they move through a long stroke such as over a speedbump?
