I'm nowhere near that - I have a work van; the Bronco only sees about 7-8k a year. Coming up on 3 years in March with 21k currently. Engine HOURS, on the other hand...
I even used to find it weird when my friends called my Liberty my "JEEP." And it WAS. Same friend also called his parents' Explorer a Jeep... he uses Jeep as synonymous with SUV. Idk... side-by-side guys...
Can you program a new BCM with this? Dealer wants $1200+ for the one I supposedly bricked. Need to change headlights as well, but don't know which to do first.
Not exactly... naively took the rig to the dealership where, after a lot of calls with a Ford Engineer at HQ, they say I'm not covered for the headlight or the BCM... Because I didn't change everything back to stock on ForScan... live and learn.
When walking away from my Bronco today, I noticed that just one DRL was left on. I tried turning the selector dial to "O," but that didn't help. I waited outside the vehicle for ~10min to make sure it turned off. Happened again after driving to next destination.
Does anybody know if there's...
Direct from KBD's site. Code was BF2024, but looks like they turned it off. You could try emailing Customer care and see if they'll honor it. Ran for more than a month.
I have already swapped my original SAS flares for standard ones. If the KBD came in standard width, they would have been perfect for me. I waited another year before purchasing just in case something better suited hit the market. KBD still best for my needs.
One thing I'll say is that this year makes me feel real good about my '23 Cactus Gray WILDTRAK. Can't believe the B&P to make it nearly as awesome in '25...
First new Ford, although I had Crown Vic ex-taxi that was given to me by a neighbor as payment for some installations I did about 16 years ago. It had 360k on it, and only lasted me about 6 months.
My first car was a '92 Cherokee Sport which is likely to still be on the road, someplace.
Then my dad's 2010 JK Sahara, which I had driven extensively.
And before the Bronco, a 2012 Liberty Latitude.
I loved my Jeeps, but the Bronco is my joy.
this also helps reboot android auto if it fails to connect while already in motion. It's so strange that you can't press the connect phone button unless stopped....
First oil change, I got filter at NAPA. Clerk said that the NAPA Gold are made by Wix; about to change out for the Motorcraft this time, so if I see a difference, I'll let you guys know.
Comes full circle.... TransAms from Smokey to KITT are on fire right now. Then again, I was born in '85 and didn't get why a TransAm/REO/Billy Squire wasn't getting Sandler the cred it deserved! Well, maybe not REO...
I wonder if those settings are still to-be-discovered in FORscan... Sometimes, AndroidAuto drops, and you have to come to a stop to click the screen to re-connect; if you're on a highway, you gotta pull over just to get it to work.
