When walking away from my Bronco today, I noticed that just one DRL was left on. I tried turning the selector dial to "O," but that didn't help. I waited outside the vehicle for ~10min to make sure it turned off. Happened again after driving to next destination.

Does anybody know if there's something I can check in FORscan, or a physical relay, etc to inspect?

Thank you and Happy New Year!

Not exactly... naively took the rig to the dealership where, after a lot of calls with a Ford Engineer at HQ, they say I'm not covered for the headlight or the BCM... Because I didn't change everything back to stock on ForScan... live and learn.

I had this issue, and got it fixed under warranty. They sent a video on the diagnosis of the issue. But for those who are no longer under warranty, the problem is due to a green wire that's in the wiring harness of the headlight itself. The wire snapped and is covered under the bumper to bumper warranty even if you have other lights added to the aux switch. Without warranty a dealer would charge 200 bucks for that fyi.

So if you'd have to access behind the light by removing the wheel, fender and bottom pad thing. Then locate the harness that connects to the headlights and the drl. find the snapped wire and repair or replace the harness.

Thanks, I have to go in soon for an oil change so I will bring this up.

Hi There - did they manage to fix it? Same diagnosis, or something else?
