I just installed the new Form Lighting LED headlights and now my left turn signal blinks 2x faster than the right blinker. Is this a known Form Lighting problem or is this a Ford Bronco issue? Can this be resolved by Forscan? Help!

Did you try it while the car was running ? Or just “on” without the engine running. It’s been awhile since I swapped mine out but I seem to remember some people saying it behaved differently with the car on vs running. BTW I have the form headlights and do not have the signal problem you mention.

Did the turn signal issue happen immediately or after a period of time?

Is the actual left-turn turn signal doing the rapid blink, or is it just the in-dash indicator rapid blinking?

It happened immediately and it’s only the in-dash indicator

Have you tried pulling the negative battery terminal for a few minutes to reboot everything?

It happens when running and just “on”

It happened immediately and it’s only the in-dash indicator
check the headlight connector plug to see if it’s completely connected/seated. Unplug the connector and make sure none of the pins are bent or broken. An application of dielectric grease won’t hurt. If the issue persists, it could be a defective headlight assembly. The rapid in-dash indicator blink seems to relate to a signal loss between the headlight/turn signal, and the BCM. Also check for any DTC’s.

Maybe check the side marker lights on the side of the grill to see if something is burnt out there. It’s an easy one to miss.

Surprising that China doesn’t pay for the right to have access to Ford OEM specifications to avoid issues like this. Or maybe not. 🤷‍♂️

I'm having the same issue with aftermarket LED tail lights. Feedback from the vendor is that the rapid blinking could be due to the system trying to adjust to the lower power draw of the LEDs compared to traditional bulbs. Does anyone else have information along this line. Is there a system setting change for LED vs Halogen, my bronco does not have the lighting package with the LEDs. Many Thanks.

Can you scan your Bronco for DTC’s?

That may take a while, I'm still looking for what to use, maybe forscan if it does that type of thing. I've seen posts about replacing a resistor or forscan changes that can resolve the issue. I also found a post for dodge with the same issue (halogen to led and the rapid flashing) where they replaced a relay.

Forscan indeed can.

Most OBD2 adapters are able to, or come with a phone app or Windows program that can.

The ProCal dongle can only read Engine codes though - not all modules get reported through it.

Many thanks, I would likely also change the loud turn signals and the loud double honk when I jump out of the truck. Three birds, one stone :)
