I agree. I don’t know what I’d do without all you miserable people. LOL.
Family sure don’t get the obsession.
My family didn’t get me, and I didn’t get them.

Here’s me praying to the Almighty that the chip shortages don’t affect my Basesquatch equal to other trims. If they had an option to order with the technology of 1995 I’d take it. Less is more when it comes to that crap.

I hear the base models are subject to the worst delays. 🤨😉

Does anyone know what it really means when you track your bronco through united road and the status is inactive?
Does it mean that it has been shipped and waiting to be transported by truck to dealer?

Estimated delivery date bounced this morning from 2/13 to 5/13. Hope that soft top holds up with all of the snow piled on. I expected a delay, just thought it would take two or three bumps to get that far out🤷🏼‍♂️ Oh well. I haven’t been waiting nearly as long as a lot of you guys. I give props to the guys who have been waiting over a year. I would be DRIVING a Jeep by now.

When they do get chips....The factory will take days they are slowed on production and jump on lot vehicles, they have people who do this everyday, but on slow days they throw everyone at it. And the line takes priority always.

So I asked the family member who called Ford. He says that both times, it was people who had to be working from home and just part-time phone-talking help. First (old) lady last week said it was "produced" - and when he asked what exactly "produced" means, her response was "what do you think it means?? It means it was produced! And your tracking info is just like you think it is, Estimated Delivery 2/15! .. === no help at all.

last night, another woman said "produced" also and he asked "I need to know what that Produced word means. Are you telling me it's been built but sent to [I said Ice earlier, he in fact said:] Dirt Mountain??" and the lady laughed and said "Yep, that's what it means..." so she didn't use the word herself, she responded to it.

the whole thing just pisses me off. Especially since it looks like the 1/10 group I was in , and bumped to 1/17, there was supposedly a 3 day back-log. My Blend Date was 1/21. If I had been in production 3 days sooner, I might have got it. There are people with 1/17 and 1/18 blend dates who have been shipped apparently. Sucks.
My bronco was built 12/6/21...and it never made it to delivery ....

that just means that the bronco hasn't been cleared/picked up from the rail yard yet. Doesn't take into account if it's even on a train yet.

Right, and what I'm saying is that there is apparently a sweet-spot ... they get chips in and put them in currently-being-produced Broncos, NOT the ones who've been shipped to storage ... and apparently I missed a window of possibly-getting-the-chips-as-it-rolls-off-the-line by the 3 Day Window of a backlog. I certainly do feel bad for you too. I am a first day reservation holder also. So as far as I'm concerned, I should have been one of the first ones built too. Nobody seems to care about that at Ford.

@CO-Bronco - Not sure if this has been discussed, Could get get a package level detail on this tracker? I am curious if this is impacting Lux more then Mid, etc. (The theory being more chips more problems)

My understanding after reading the dirt mountain post and now the ice mountain post is that the reason FORD isn't finishing 2021 "built" vehicles and some 2022 Built vehicles is that the energy/effort and cost to finish the partially completed broncos doesn't make financial sense when they can easily complete new builds as they are completed off the assembly line? I imagine they have some tax advantage on their balance sheet where FORD makes money on the stockpiled Ice Mountain Broncos ...probably using some COVID relief money or some nonsense like that.....I am interested in hearing from the FORD people on the forum...Please educate me/us if this is the case...I understand suppply chain issues...no chips...means no broncos...but how are any vehicles ...especially Broncos being built and shipped and delivered before earlier builds?
