I absolute love ours. It's the most fun I've had driving since I was 17.
One reason I particularly love the Hot Pepper Red Metallic is that it *changes colors* according to it's mood ... Depending on how it feels, it goes from bright bright red to red to burnt orange to metallic orange and...
Thank you for your concern.
I was paraphrasing Phil Leotardo from The Sopranos ... "Let me tell you a couple-a-three things..."
But I appreciate your concern.
We also have a 2022 Wildtrak and it's my own first experience with a "boosted engine" aka Turbo (or Supercharged etc.) - my Dad had a couple-a-few "Turbo Diesel" Pickups, as it's extremely common to Turbocharge a diesel engine especially for a pickup - he literally had a remote start and...
Not today, over the weekend... Took Buckshot to Publix and I usually park it at the very end of the lot , so as to avoid carts. (Someone that works there has the same idea, as they have a bright-orange Corvette that I see parked in the same area often...) As I'm coming back with my groceries, I...
Quick stupid question - I think we have some interest in this but I'd note the last line : " Of course, with this calibration, Premium fuel is required!" ...
So I am wondering - is premium fuel "required" to get the full performance boost, which is pretty much the way it is normally with this...
We recently had (the bad circumstances) occasion to take the Wildtrak on a 1,200+ mile each way road-trip up and down I-95 .... And really it was a pretty darn smooth ride and as usual, the Bronco wants to drive itself.
Also - Adaptive Cruise Control is absolutely amazing. I had never even...
We have WeatherTech, they work fine, reasonably priced, and I know the famous thread on here showing them installed incorrectly - and I hate to be rude - but that is not at all what they look like on ours, installed correctly.
Ford has some real high-quality, heavy-duty ones, but they're like...
My Dad averages 18.4 in the Wildtrak almost all the time - quite literally the definition of "average" - but I believe he has had a Highway trip or two where it was 20.X ... I don't drive it all that much but when I do it goes down to 18.0 or even 17.X ... I guess I enjoy the Turbo a little more...
Not for nothin, but who gives a shit?!
YOLO.
You're not promised the end of the day, let alone tomorrow - and you're worried about Ten YEARS from now?!
18mpg.
If I drive it and get a little aggressive and , incidentally, have the top flipped back but the AC blasting (it's already hot in FL...) it goes down to 17.XX ... my old man took it on a trip last weekend and he drives the speed-limit exactly, and was mostly highway, and got it above 20mpg.
Uhh, no bro, but if that makes YOU feel better, go ahead and feel better. I like looking better than you. That's important to me. I have plenty of performance too, so , I'm all good.
I'm sorry, what would I be towing while off-roading?
I don't know how many times I can say the same thing without just straight-up insulting people.
The black interior of a Badlands is just straight up ugly. I mean, who gets a black interior unless it's an all-black vehicle?
Contrary, the Medium Sandstone Leather interior trimmed with Black...
I don't know how to say this to all the Wildtrak Haters that are constantly sippin hella Haterade up in here:
You keep saying "any Bronco could do that!" - yeah maybe.
But we look better doing it.
Simple as that.
Taste The Rainbow, haters.
So on Sunday my Pre-Collision Assist Warning came on what appeared to be randomly. First time. I was driving up a one-lane-each-direction road, a pickup was a good bit ahead of me - like half a football field or more - and went to turn onto a street on the left side of the road, and suddenly...
Have had our Wildtrak for about 35+ days now, about 850mi and it's freaking sweet.
I am talking about Starburst & Skittles SWEET.
So I'm not saying, I'm just saying...
So we've had ours for just over a month. We didn't drive it for the first two weeks much at all, because we really needed mudflaps (I live on a stone road, that connects to my 770ft driveway made out another kind of stones, and this thing fires off rocks like an MP5...) - but now I have just...
