I'm not a fan of the Bronco video/animations playing every time I get into my bronco to get my keys, roll up the windows, start the vehicle, etc. Sometimes its late at night and I don't want a the video shining in my face. Anyways I'll get to the point, can these be disabled on the center console and driver's screen? I haven't been able to find a setting in the display settings. Maybe I'm just skimming over it? Also I have Forscan if that's what it takes.

PS Is Ford doing this in the new F150s too? I am in the market for a new truck in the next 12 months but I really don't care of all of the computer screens they are loading into these things (and charging an arm and leg for). I see even the XLs come standard with a full LCD driver display and 12" touch screen...which is probably why the XL 4x4 is like 55 grand.

Turn on your auto updates. They broke the animation (and compass) for many of us

Duck tape is your friend here. There is nothing you need on that screen at all from the sounds of it

What's the latest with the updates? Is the animation gone permanently?

Never saw the animation go away on our '24 and it auto-updates whenever it feels like. Everything seems to work as intended.

If your APIM was up to date, it would be just the new “Bronco” start up instead of rolling rocks.
The newest calibration changes it. Likely just haven’t got an update for that in a while.

It has done a couple updates, because it has notified me it was going to do them. Still have the rolling rocks. And as others have stated, it comes back.

OTA updates aren’t only for the APIM, plus not all updates are OTA.
It doesn’t come back once the update removes it. If it did go away then come back, it wasn’t an update that caused it.
