Enh, not really a fair comparison, every state is different. I know Texas' is crazy high for example.

Totally get that. That is why I put my state in the OP. California is crazy high as well. Just kinda interested in what people in other states are paying.

I pay a bunch extra for personalized plates and a state parks pass.... So I pay about $200 for two years... LOL... Idaho....

$413 this year for my '21 in Maine including my vanity plate. Maine registration includes both the registration fee and excise tax plus an extra $15 for the vanity plate.
Wow, I thought WA would be right there with CA since our leaders share the same uh….”values” but I paid just over $100. We voted in $35 tabs but that’s been “adjusted” for us.
