I count twelve possible orders so far. Build it they will come.

Or will this be like the Ford reservation plan get your hopes up then wait years for delivery?

;) ;) ;) :ROFLMAO:

I'd be in for that too, if not the hardware. I'd pay money for a PDF drawing of it just so I don't have to do the maths LOL. I have a bandsaw and a shop press with the SWAG press brake attachment :)

Update: Regarding customization of the skidplate. The OEM badlands skid plate has only 4 bolts holding it in, In these photos, you may notice that there are 5, and later the bolt which used the OEM diff bracket was removed.

This middle bolt is using an otherwise unused weldnut available right next to the diff bracket. I had previously modified my skidplate to use that additional weldnut per the install instructions for the Lobo hidden winch skidplate. I later forgot that that was a modification I made and thus forgot to mention it here.

If you modify your OEM skid plate with this diff drop, and lose the mounting attachment there, you will definitely want to modify your skid to accept a bolt in the unused hole next to the diff bracket.

My skidplate after Lobo front winch skid install, prior to diff drop:

Don't hesitate to reach out to me for questions regarding this project.

Just got my kit! Will be installing here in a bit. Thanks @TeocaliMG for the innovation! I'm sure the Skid plate mods will make more sense once I get under there and have a look around!

Just installed mine today with my buddy. Wasn't to bad. Forearm craps were real tho trying to work in the rear mount and get the bolts started lol
Overall pretty simple and cutting the skid wasn't that bad... Did you guys cut the front skid to where the mounting bolt used to be? I just tightened everything down and created a bit of a ramp with that bolt slot to the new diff bracket.

I just finished up installing your Diff drop. Everything went great! I did it along with an M190 to M210 swap.

I cut my factory skids in a couple of places and added an M10 riv-nut to the drop bracket. Cut a notch on the engine skid where there is an unused factory welded nut right next the new bracket. Massaged with a BFH in a few spots and I'm really happy with it.

A couple pics show that you really don't lose any overall ground clearance.

Sorry it always puts my pics out of order.

Thanks for providing this kit!

Awesome work! What size hole did you need for the riv-nut? I know you aren't the only guy who wrapped the skids around it, I think someone else just directly tapped a hole in the steel.

I may make that an option for folks who want to do something like this. Easy enough to add the hole from the get-go.

For the rivnuts I have a half inch drill bit is the closest size I have without being too big. It's snug enough that I have to tap it in with a bolt partially threaded in. Makes it super tight which of course is great for rim nuts. I could put the calipers on it tonight and give you an exact measurement if you like?

I’m waiting until I can afford to swap the 190 diff out for the bigger one, hopefully in 2025.
