I see you are in Maryland. You can have my Badlands takeoffs for the low price of a case of beer. You pick up in Easton, MD.

I’m tired of the them being in my shed.
Are you serious? I live in Fruitland, work nights, and I’m off Fri/Sat.

You let me know your beer of choice and I would seriously appreciate it.

I’m not that familiar with this forum, but I’ll try to figure out how to PM you my number.

You’re welcome, glad it helped. Wheels are simple but can be confusing as there is a lot of give and take.

Here is some more info that I didn’t include earlier. When talking offset, you have to adjust for wheel width. To give an example, your stock 7.5” wheels have +55 offset. Sasquatch wheels are 8.5” and have +30 offset.

Without consideration of the wheel width variance, you may just assume the SAS wheels stick out 1” further (25.4mm = 1” and 55-30mm = 25mm).

However, the SAS wheels being 1” wider has to be considered. Split in half that is 0.5” x 25.4 = 12.7mm, or 13mm rounded. So yes, the SAS wheel has less positive offset but when *width is considered* a 7.5” wide wheel with +55 offset is actually more comparable to a 8.5” wheel with +42 offset.

Again, the SAS wheels are +30 so they are still going to poke more but only 12mm more as opposed to the initial 25mm variance you get when ignoring wheel widths.

Below is a chart showing these relationships.

Another popular wheel is the RTR Tech 6 and also Evo. Both are 17x9 and offered in 0 and +30 offset. The 9” wide +30 variant is *very close* to the 7.5” width at +55mm, approx 6mm of variance (hair less than a 1/4”).

Hey Daniel!
Decent info above, but not entirely correct.

Wheel(rim) width is at best, a minimal factor in poke.

The offset and tire width will be the primary drivers of poke.
The best calculator I have seen doesn't even ask for wheel width.

Just for comparisons sake,
Adjusted the "new setup" to the sasquatch +30mm offset and 285.

If you want more height than the 33 (which is only 1/2" taller than the factory tire, you can safely jump up to the 285/75-17 at 33.8".

fwiw, I have 35 X 11.5-17 on Method 17 X 8.5 +35mm and the outer sidewall is just flush with the standard flare.
No rub on the street.

No knock of the calculator but its failure to account for wheel width is a flaw, not consensus it’s “more accurate”.

Put more simply, jumping from a +55 to +30 gives the illusion you are moving the wheel out 25mm, or 1” rounded. And that is true if both wheels ar the SAME width.

But if the +55 is 7.5 and the +30 is 8.5 then there is a 1” delta in wheel width.

Offset is a relation to wheel centerline so 1/2 that delta will be tucked inside the wheel well (left of wheel centerline) and the other 1/2 will extend out from the wheel well (right of centerline).

That wheel width delta ultimately results in a poke of only 1/2”, roughly 12mm. Is that a SIGNIFICANT amount of variation?

Guess it depends whom you ask and what that person’s expectations were. It’s plausible they are happy with the end result regardless how the math worked out.

FYI, the calculator also uses mathematically converted dimensions of TIRE size and revolutions for its comparison. Go pull some actual dimensions from a manufacturer site and see how that varies. At least they put a disclaimer about this. Again, a good tool for basic visualization but it’s not the end all you claim.

I've been using this thread as reference as I'm looking for a cheap set of wheels to mount snow tires on. (BadNoSquatch w 17x8 55 offset)

A couple of questions I have, is the bore, does anyone know offhand what the bore of a Bronco's wheel should be?

I'm having a bit of a hard time finding anything in the right size, and a similar offset to the OEM size, should I consider a downsizing to a 7.5 inch wheel with tires of the same size as stock (LT285/70/r17), or will this affect the rolling diameter, or something I have no idea about?

For what it's worth, the wheels the OP posted would have been perfect for me, but I called my dealer, and they are not available in Canada.
