Help me decide... Eruption Green vs Velocity Blue

My first color choice was rapid red but by the time I ordered in Dec it had been discontinued. I started looking at HPR but figured the blue interior accents of the black diamond would clash. I saw a 2dr HPR obx with a lift and aftermarket tires/wheels on my lunch break today that looked great.

I like the blue but wife does not…she likes green so ordered green on original base order…ended up with race red off lot but if it was just me blue would be it.

Really comes down to whether you prefer blue or green. Would have been a tough choice for me as I like both, but green wasn't an option when I got mine. Win, win either way. Go with whichever you prefer.

I had an EG loaner last week and probably will next week too. But VB 100% I was torn between them too.

Velocity Blue. But I’m biased.

I think if you live in mostly a sunny climate, go with the blue. If you are in a cloudy overcast area, go with the green.

EG 100% !! The most compliments I've ever gotten on a vehicle, it literally brings smiles to peoples faces.

VB for me. But I am a Blue lover ! I get compliments pretty much everywhere I go.

My 2016 F150 in Flame Blue. Still have it and it Still gets compliments as well.

Placing a 2024 Badlands order this week. Definitely a first world problem, but I am torn between Eruption Green and Velocity Blue. They both look awesome and pair well with the Badlands orange interior stitching/badges.

I currently own a blue Forester and a Lunar Rock Tacoma. Lunar Rock/Cactus Gray is wearing on me but it hides dust and dirt well.

If you own one of these colors, what do you love or hate the most about them? Are they a pain to clean? etc..

Help convince me which color to go with, pictures would be great!

I was in the air about the 2 also, went with EG. Love it, only one of three that I know of in area. Everybody I have seen ha CG, Area 51 or AGTM for the most part. I also have seen 1 VB, 1 IS, 1 HPR, a couple black and an OW other than that, but had out of state plates on them.

Seems to be a rare color in my area. I cannot say I have even seen one.

I would go with the green since there’s already a blue forester in the mix. The carbonized gray would also look pretty sweet next to the Prelude.

Eruption Green. Strictly my opinion, but I think Velocity Blue looks kinda cheap / rental-car blue because its a basic medium blue that lacks depth.

Unfortunately, I dont think Ford is really offering any good blues right now on the bronco. Eruption Green I think is a bit flawed with the amount of yellow in it, and is a bit too light. If it looked like how it does in the shadows but in the daylight it would be amazing. IMO it still a good color and easily beats out VB.

Here's my personal order. Eruption Green moves from 4th to 1st
Antimatter Blue >> Rapid Red >> Lightning Blue >> Eruption Green >> Hot Pepper Red >> Code Orange >> blah to the rest....
