Placing a 2024 Badlands order this week. Definitely a first world problem, but I am torn between Eruption Green and Velocity Blue. They both look awesome and pair well with the Badlands orange interior stitching/badges.

I currently own a blue Forester and a Lunar Rock Tacoma. Lunar Rock/Cactus Gray is wearing on me but it hides dust and dirt well.

If you own one of these colors, what do you love or hate the most about them? Are they a pain to clean? etc..

Help convince me which color to go with, pictures would be great!

I'm like you, love both colors. The wife wanted Eruption green......so the green we have ;) looks fantastic when it's in the southern Calif. sunshine but, it does show the dirt like a black car (I suspect the blue would be the same)
I do see a lot more blue Broncos running around town than green ones so it is kinda nice having something not as common (like a white F-150 :ROFLMAO:)

Velocity Blue is definitely more popular here in central Florida as well.

I wanted eruption green. I picked up an abandoned order with everything I wanted. I had no shot of getting a 23, and low chance of 24. Id go eruption green and put those awesome bronze tires on from Ford Performance.

I vote green, and that's as someone who was shopping for that color in particular, but I found the spec I wanted without an ADM in black. Eruption looks awesome, and green overall is less common than blue.

Or, you could get Chili Pepper 😈

I'm definitely leaning more toward Eruption Green, because I like the metallic paint more. Agreed on bronze wheels.

I love my VB. Ive only seen a few others around town. EG is a gorgeous color in the sun. It has a nice gold flake in it that looks great with a gold/bronze wheel. Im seeing more and more of them now. If I were a fan of green I probably woulda considered but I prefer blue. The biggest compliment I get on mine is probably the color.

Hot Pepper Red is #3 for me, but not sure I want to pay the upcharge.

Im starting to see more green in my area. More than VB at least. I agree HPR is a great color too.
Black has always been my first choice but I didnt want the upkeep for a offroad vehicle.

Chili Pepper is awesome because it isn't just red, its red with a copper pearl clearcoat that gets dark at night, shines a mile deep in the sun, and gives off a hundred colors in the morning or evening. It's like the red version of Eruption, but better. For me its Chili>Eruption>Carbonized>Shadow. I also love Cyber Orange and Antimatter Blue but they're gone, and am not really feeling the new colors otherwise. I'd love to see a deep pearl orange, or maybe a sage.

The nice thing about black is that it contrasts really well with the hardtop, my BL's gray grill, and the bumpers/tires. There is a lot of black, but the hues/textures still break it up, and the paint itself is really smooth and reflective. I'll be honest, it's stayed a lot cleaner than I expected, but I think the mudflaps definitely help.

Green. If my Bronco order had been pushed back after Cyber Orange had been eliminated I would have selected Eruption Green as the color. Then again, you can’t go wrong with Velocity Blue either.

I was torn between those 2 colors also. Decided on VB and glad I did. Wouldn't change it.

If you haven't already, I'd HIGHLY recommend seeing the colors in person, in different lighting situations. Preferably on a Bronco, and even better on a 2 or 4 door (whichever style you want). Most photos here don't tell the true story. With that said, here is my color opinion:

Normally red is my go-to color. But I got Velocity Blue because it's overall a nice shade of blue, doesn't overpower in the sun (although it is metallic), and looks nice as well in the shade. Be advised in the shade it turns a darker shade of blue, but still in my opinion nice (check it out in person). I think VB with dark/black accents looks especially good, that's the way to best highlight the qualities of VB.

The Eruption Green looks a lot better in person than I thought it would. But in the sun it's going to have the more lighter green/gold mentioned. Make sure you like that look, because it's different than the more solid somewhat darker shade that is in some photos. Potential downside is green tends to go in and out of style. I once had a green Ford Escort from when green was kind of the "in" color, and everyone knew when it was built after green was no longer the "in" color, lol.

Hot Pepper Red - depending on lighting make sure you like burnt orange.

Race Red (aka Retina Burning Red) - in the sun make sure you have sunglasses. I probably would have gone with RR if there was no such thing as sun, lol.

And then there are these colors: ;)

(The above opinions are only that, intended with some humor, paint color can be a very personal aesthetic choice, be sure to view IN PERSON and make a choice that works for you.)
Appreciate the detailed explanation. I have seen both colors in person under full sun which is what make my decision difficult. I actually like Velocity Blue better in the shade and Eruption Green better in the sun. I have never owned a green car, because in the past it was typically a less desired color.

Race Red was definitely too bright and almost starts to look red/orange at full sun.

Carbonized Gray Metallic is a great color for Broncos, but I'm grayed out at this point.
