basically, the headrest should never touch my heady unless I am rear ended. If it touches me at all in normal driving I will either.
Reverse it,
Take it to a pipe bender,
Discard it.

I do have a big head, but I'm glad to see I'm not alone with this annoying problem.Maybe the shape of one’s head is the true culprit. Never thought twice about the head rests in my rig.
I started out by pushing head rest all the way down then from the back seat push on the head rest to make it go forward, then it will snap back until it is straight and not angled forward, I TOO HATED THIS MYSELF !!, so I messed with it and found this out, hope it helps, cause now I can lean my head back and be comfortable!!!
I am SO happy I found this thread. This was my number 1 complaint (and really my only complaint) right from the start. The only way to get it into a comfortable position is to recline the seat so far back you're practically laying. Then you're head is straight up. I would LOVE to find a solution for this.I have a Wildtrak with cloth seats, and I wish mine were adjustable. :-/
Ummm… Don’t get me wrong, that is a solution to a lot of my problems. I’m just not seeing how it would help here…Here you go....

My wife has decided she really likes the F150 headrest, and she's keeping mine! Of course, the gray cloth looks a little weird with the MGV. So my task now is to source one that better matches the MGV seats.I am SO happy I found this thread. This was my number 1 complaint (and really my only complaint) right from the start. Only with leather interior is it adjustable not with cloth or MGV.You guys do realize the headrest is adjustable right?
Pull it all the way forward and let it go, it will spring all the way back. Then adjust it from there.
