Raise it higherI tried that and it doesn’t make a difference.
This is what I did and it helped quite a bit But I also plan on taking it apart and bending the rods. It. Might be higher on my priority list I plan on doing it soon.I turned mine around....what a fantastic difference...I'll be bending mine in a vice at some point in the future and re installing in normal position...low on priority list.
Already done that...when I would wear a hat the back of the cap would rub on the headrest so when I turn my head the cap would go hommie crooked...made me look too gangsta.Shave the back of your head.
https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/thre...aftermarket-options-to-fix.49122/post-1599498Anyone ever come up with a solution to this? I got my Badlands with MGV yesterday and its terrible. I took the head rest out and it seems like the rods are connected within the head rest with plastic and then the padding and MGV are added to that. I've seen where people have bent them, but I'd be afraid of breaking whatever plastic is in there and really screwing them up. I may stop by a local upholstery shop and see if they have any ideas or experience with this. I would think that getting the adjustable leather ones is an option, and then moving the MGV covers over. Better yet, Ford stop nickel and diming these builds and put adjustable in all and just buy two of those. My Jeep has 'active' headrests which are designed to pop out and meet your head in the event of a crash.
Just run it over !This is what I did and it helped quite a bit But I also plan on taking it apart and bending the rods. It. Might be higher on my priority list I plan on doing it soon.
I did exactly this in all 4 of my CX5s. Put the legs in a vise and GENTLY put some pressure on the headrest to move it. It is possible to kink the tube and then your SOL. I bent mine 3/4 inch back on the Mazda and it was perfect.I guess you could try bending them right at the top of the rod.
