I sometimes get a thrill out of the chase. Now that the chase is over, I guess I moved to something else :ROFLMAO:
It crossed my mind in February buddy when I was having all sorts of battery/transfer case issues. My wife convinced me to let cooler heads prevail. Honestly my plan right now is to keep an eye on the new LandCruiser/GX to see how the first couple years treats those vehicles and consider moving over when they're more battle tested and established and there is an aftermarket full of solutions.

Congrats on your new truck! I still have my 2006 Sequia limited with 150K miles and still going strong. It’s my daughter’s “learning to drive” car. I bought it brand new right before she was born.

Why, do people feel they have to be faithful to one car/truck brand, did you take vows at the Ford dealer?
Ford has been good to me! Ford feeds literally a large portion of our families with well paying jobs. Should I continue? Been driving Lincoln navs , expeditions never an issue. Just sold a maverick - A plan - best prices ever. Life is good brother. I have choices and a chose to spend my $ this particular way. Peace 😊

I probably couldn't pull the door off my MY04 F150 I purchased in 2003 and put it on a 2024, but it sure looks like it would fit. But in 20 years coming up with triangler headlights/taillights and raising the hood-line 2" seems like the design team 15 years off. And if you look at a 2004 Tundra/Ram/Silverado they don't look remotely the same today.

You’ll be back to Ford (F150or bigger) when you decide you need a real truck.😉
He'd be buying a less American truck if he did that.🤣

Wow, posting irrelevant videos to a year/trim/engine I don’t even have #relevant

I find it so interesting when folks can’t be happy for someone driving a vehicle other than what the forum is focused on…
Yeah, it's funny people post stupid stuff like this when Toyota sells a bit more and has far less recalls than the Recall King, Ford Motor Company🤣

Ok, I know there will be other smartass comments too, but that’s fine - I’ve earned those over the years on B6G 🤣

So today I traded in my beloved Bronco. I did truly love that vehicle, however it was time for a change - I need a vehicle that can tow/haul a lot more, but still wanted to have fun off-road. Alas, after lots of research I landed on a 2024 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro.

Amazing truck that has a lot of great features and options I’ll use, plus the styling of the Tundra is amazing. And in true @604Tundra Bronco fashion, I ensured it was still a moar door.

I love B6G and most of the people here, so I’ll still be around contributing where I can. We still share the passion for hitting the Starbucks drive-thru trails, so I’m looking forward to continuing to keep those connections here 🙂

Now excuse me while I buckle in for the trolling…

I’m a Toyota and Ford guy. My full-size pickup conundrum was “F150 or Tundra” (F150 won because we got a killer deal on a Platinum F150) and the wife traded in a 13-yr-old 4Runner for the Bronco.

That’s a beautiful Tundra!

In my mind the bronco was never meant to be a single, primary vehicle. Not sure how people live without a dedicated truck, as well as whatever else they drive. We get down to 3 vehicles and I get antsy.
Around here a truck would always come first.

Does the rear window roll down in the tundra?
Always loved that feature and wished my fords and rams did that
Yep - used it for the first time today and loved it! It also has a huge sunroof. I know it’s not the same as a convertible vehicle, like a Bronco, but it sure feels darn close.

The Japanese-built Toyotas sure.. the American built ones? Yeah no… the Grand Highlander (built in the US) has a stop sale. Tundras probably should have too since hybrid engines are self destructing also and not in the recall currently.

Yep, that's why I got an "old" (platform from 2010) 4Runner built all in Japan and all in the same factory, I do worry Toyota is headed down the road of Ford and the others with their "global" vehicles, while I was at the Toyota dealership, i took lots of pics of the "made where" stickers, just a few of the Toyotas were "real' Toyotas, most of the popular ones were built all over the place like the Bronco and F-150. The F-150 is now only 23% US and Canadian, not even a damn quarter of the vehicle has American parts, that's nuts!!

I've said "goodbye" to my Bronco too. Twice! LOL Neither time was it for a downgrade. Loved my 2-door OB, loved my 4-door WT, maybe more, but I think the Raptor will stick around for a while.
