To each their own. I hope you enjoy it.

The question is, when will Toyoda (the original name BTW) fire Pokemon the chief designer?

By the way, recalls are continuing to pass 200K:

Spun baerings.

Trash in the engine

Ok, I know there will be other smartass comments too, but that’s fine - I’ve earned those over the years on B6G 🤣

So today I traded in my beloved Bronco. I did truly love that vehicle, however it was time for a change - I need a vehicle that can tow/haul a lot more, but still wanted to have fun off-road. Alas, after lots of research I landed on a 2024 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro.

Amazing truck that has a lot of great features and options I’ll use, plus the styling of the Tundra is amazing. And in true @604Tundra Bronco fashion, I ensured it was still a moar door.

I love B6G and most of the people here, so I’ll still be around contributing where I can. We still share the passion for hitting the Starbucks drive-thru trails, so I’m looking forward to continuing to keep those connections here 🙂

Now excuse me while I buckle in for the trolling…

You can never go wrong with a Toyota truck in my experience. I sold my 1985 Toyota 4 Runner with a 22RE with 315,000 miles on it and it never failed me. Toyota makes incredible trucks...Nice pick!!!

Wow, posting irrelevant videos to a year/trim/engine I don’t even have #relevant

I find it so interesting when folks can’t be happy for someone driving a vehicle other than what the forum is focused on…

Congrats on the new ride. Always exciting to have some new wheels to mess with and buy more crap for.

And yeah, people get weirdly defensive or aggressive over cars. I think some feel attacked that you got a new car. LOL.

Cheers.

Hmm I understand the need for a truck if you need to do truck stuff. The new Tundra though.....I like the rear, not the front so much. I feel they should have left it as it was and made a few updates to it.

People on the F150 forums asked me the same questions when I sold the Harley for my Bronco. Needs change, and you change with them. For me, I did not need a full-size truck anymore, and I wanted to go off-roading again. The Bronco fit the bill. I'm happy and I'm rolling along. So I get it.

Good luck with it. Hopefully, the issues I have been reading about have been ironed out.

That’s a beast of a truck. Love Toyota. But we are a ford family - Michigan wife! Rather be married than divorced or hungry. 🤤 congrats.

You folks make it sound like I’m disappearing from here. I’ll still be around, just with a different vehicle :)
Yeah, but it's not the same. I'm pretty sure were gonna have to change the password now. Oh, by the way, does the Tundra have rear vents? Our Raptor does not!

Honestly, the engine recalls are only a minor issue. The Tundra + Sequoia line just has poor QC. Folks still complaining about rattles (my experience too) and parts falling off. Might as well slap a Tesla badge on them on how poor assembled and cheap they are.

I still follow the Sequoia groups and it's problems after problems. Compare that to the wonderfully reliable RAV4 Prime that I owned in 2021 - which after 3-4 years and 2x-3x the sales of the Sequoia... barely hear a single complaint from owners on groups I still follow.

What the hell people?!

The guy just bought a new truck, let him enjoy it. We get it, you wouldn't buy it, good news, you don't have to, that's not how it works.

Why can't you just be happy for someone when they make a decision that is different than yours?
