I had it happen when stopped for gas. Pumped gas and got in to leave when the dreaded message came up. Put key in the super secret spot and Bronco started up. Went about my day without another problem. Next day stopped at same station and it happened again. Since we were attending Super...
Many years ago when I first started wrenching on other peoples vehicles I had someone come to me as I was changing oil and they said they put ATF in and ran the engine for about 10 minutes and drain it then new filter and oil. I had never heard of this nor seen it done and I never did it either.
I have the Staun deflators. Once in a while they won't start to deflate and I just loosen the jamnut and it starts deflating. Very simple setup. According to TPMS display usually stops within 1 or 2 lbs between all 4 tires. I don't worry about a couple lb difference, the TPMS display can only...
I am curious if the batteries are tied together what would be the total CCA of the battery setup? Under hard winching conditions the winch could pull upwards of 500 amps at stall so will the buss bar handle this high of a load? My old '74 Bronco runs a pair of group 27's to power the Warn 8274...
I was gonna say this same thing. We used to put the hood up. With the new Bronco and front camera it is easier now. Also I like the wheel chock idea. Emergency brake applied or foot on the brakes. If you are pulled towards the stuck rig then you might need to anchor to another rig or a tree or rock.
Pulled the plug today as well. The shop I ordered it through changed my order to TOR. Unfortunately I hoped that the longer I waited, with more people pulling out, I might see someone getting an ADV top but given the amount of people on here that's not happening.
What I did was locate the existing holes drilled the fridge mount and then get some metric bolts to bolt it down I used 3 per each side of the fridge slide base.
Let me get out there and get a picture and look at how I did it. I know I did not drill holes in the drawer lid but drilled the fridge slide mount to match drilled and tapped holes in the top of the drawer.
I wish I could get rid of the rev match on my '22 WT when I'm wheeling and in M trans mode. I use manual when wheeling to slow downhill without braking and many times the thing revs to the moon when I downshift. It really is annoying.
I had an issue with my RSE passenger side when I installed. It would work sometimes. I did some measurements with ammeter and found a slight current draw on passenger side when it wasn't supposed to have any. Couple emails and RSE sent me a new motor board. I have not had a problem since. Added...
I know this is a 6G forum but I also want to give a shout out to my buddy Chris Greenwood and his sweet 1st Gen Bronco. He completed the Score Baja 1000 and won his class. That makes 3 wins in Baja for this team. Congrats to all the teams that finished this race. I hope this is allowed, if not...
Turn off auto headlights and it shouldn't happen. I noticed, in the morning especially, that going in and out of shade it would brighten and dim. I just turned auto headlights off and it took care of the problem.
I have AAL's Big Bronco P.A.C.S drawer in mine. Got it with the mil spec top coat and black powder coat. It's a good piece. I like the fact you can lift it up and get into rear under floor storage. I lined the drawer with tool box drawer liner from Harbor Freight. Glued this to the bottom to...
I have them installed on mine and at the time didn't paint them. Had to replace the fronts so I painted them a matte black. Need to mask and paint the rears now. Went to Super Celebration and mine was the only one that had these flares. I like the looks it gets with the squared off wheel opening.
