Lol, no help there !Save floor space in a small garage
I've been running this same vacumaid for years and love it. The 50' hose is a game changer. I have a small garage and being able to vacuum my vehicles outdoors without having to get anything out it's great. Just roll out the hose and go. Wall mounted means it takes up effectively no space. Its quieter than your typical shop vac as well. The only real downside is it is a dry only vac. It uses bags as well but that doesn't bother me. I wrap the hose around the vac itself so it cuts the used wall space almost in half. Bonus the red color matches my Bronco.
Thanks for the image. It looks like this Bissell is the one to beet for my needs. How is the suction compared to a standard shop vac?I just mounted this bissell the other week.

Thanks for the reply. It does look great and I really like it is made of steel and not plastic. Not sure if you can comment on the mechanicals or not, but do they look as beefy and well made as the outside of it does? None of the published advertising and reviews really go into the quality of motors and other mechanicals the garage vacuums contain. Thanks!I've been running this same vacumaid for years and love it. Thanks for the reply. I had the giraffe on my short list and now it is off. I did check out your link and it does look good but it is out of my budget.I tried the giraffe wall mount it was junk, had girlfriends with far better suction. I now have the obsessed garage wall mount vaccum with my hose on a reel and it’s pricey but worth EVERY penny https://www.obsessedgarage.com/collections/vacuums/products/obsessed-garage-vacuum-solution
Thank you for the reply. The Bissell is my front runner so far. It is good to hear that it is "still going strong" after years of use. That is the most important thing for me. I hate replacing things like this after only a short time.I've had this for years and still going strong

I can't sorry. Its a bottom mount motor so you never see it and I've never had a problem so I've never taken it apart. This is what the inside of the canister looks like with the bag removed though. Thanks for the reply. It does look great and I really like it is made of steel and not plastic. Thank you so much for the pictures.. It does look good and beefy inside. Also simple enough without too much electronics to go wrong. (Looks like it would be easy to repair assuming parts are available) I will be keeping this at the top of my list along with the Bissell. Unfortunately I don't think they make it in Robins Egg blue to match my BroncoI can't sorry. Its a bottom mount motor so you never see it and I've never had a problem so I've never taken it apart. I imagine the motor is accessed by removing the bottom exterior cover of the vac.

100% with you on the HEPA units….When everything was closed up for Covid I got big into woodworking (machinist by trade so wood had been my nemesis for years but now I enjoy it) and discovered Festool at my local woodcraft. I now use one of their bagged HEPA vacs/extractors in my house as our home vacuum aside from the Roomba. The lead custodian around here liked it so much she gave our Dyson to my mother in law.TL,dr:
Prior to that job (this past summer) , there's probably NO WAY you'd ever have convinced me to buy a ~$600+/- shop vac.
Now I'm sold on it.
That and those HEPA bags.
I have the same one. It's fantastic.I've had this for years and still going strong

I have the old version of this for 18 years and it continues to work great. Not in my garage, but attach to my boat slip. Works great but does not float well

Shop-Vac went out of business for a while. Are they back? Even more important, where do you get filters? Not in my garage, but attach to my boat slip. Works great but does not float well

eBay, Amazon, etc. have the filters. You can search by vacuum model or filter number, if you know it.Shop-Vac went out of business for a while. Are they back? Even more important, where do you get filters?
