There is a Forscan Solution already posted showing which single line to change to open up the audio. Then he used a $200 set of light upgrades and the sound difference was incredible. There are clips pre and post speakers and then pre and post forscan.

Just wrapped up initial phase of my 2022 base audio upgrades which included Kicker CS series in all the stock locations as well as the addition of a Kicker Hideaway 8” in the rear.

Sub was wired to the rear channels, picked up wiring in the driver’s rear rocker area. Single Forscan update of ACM 727-01-02 from 0901 000D 00 (As Built) to 0900 000D 00 providing full range to rear speakers and sub.

Awaiting delivery of Kicker Key 200.4 to finish up the front however even without it this has been a fantastic upgrade in overall audio quality.

Are there any plug-and-play replacement speakers? I would be fine replacing the speakers, but something about cutting wires in a brand new car really freaks me out.
Amazon :
Metra Electronics 72-5602 and 72-5600

So after reading all 22 pages I’m more confused. I’m ASSUMING the flash performed at the factory is the same thing as using forscan to open it up. This is based on how other cars I programmed worked but I admit I have zero experience programming Fords. Several post seems to believe the forscan makes it louder but the factory flash opens up everything.

Not looking for people guessing, I can do that, but does anyone know for sure if it’s the same or different?

I'm still wondering if anyone checked the FORScan codes after ACM flash.

I know what you’re asking. I’m not an “audiophile”. My vehicle before this was a 2021 4Runner and I didn’t do anything to it audio wise. Prior to that was a 2019 F150 and again nothing done except a powered sub.

To give you some perspective my wife has a GMC Acadia Denali (2020) and we just finished a trip and took the Bronco to dinner. Her exact words were - your speakers suck.

Let me try to rephrase the JBL Soundbar. I put a $60 pair of speakers in the stock rear pods with some dynamat and they sounded better than the sound bar by a long shot. (Using the stock head unit to drive them).
was it difficult getting the Dynamat in there or do the pods come apart fully

I removed the speaker, disconnected the wire harness, and then removed 2 torx screws on top of the speaker pod and the one torx bolt on the bottom of the pod that bolts to the roll bar. Once off it's easy to cut strips/ pieces to put inside the pod through the hole where the speaker would go.

A lot of talk about the 4" speakers in the dash and in the back. Has anybody found a good replacement for the two speakers in the kick panel? I think they are 6x9's but not sure.

They are 6.5" speakers. You will need Metra 82-5605 adapters for most aftermarket speakers.

Now I'm confused. Just did the 1st line in Forscan today (3800). Did make things louder and more clear. Need to add bass blockers next.
What's this line you changed? Another to add to the list to bring about better sound?

In the ACM, line 727-01-02 contains the EQ settings with available options of 00-0C (0-12) where 00 is a flat EQ from the ACM. This was the only ACM change I made to open up full range to rear channels on my 2022.

yes, i do agree that the 3800 change on line 1 did make things louder. Now on to line 2 to make the update listed ( 727-01-02 ). For this to work best, do I have to revert the first line ( 727-01-01 ) back to its original state, or leave it at 3800? Working with a 2022 Bron, so this is a pain!
