Anyone know what is special about this funnel that is with the jack? I tried using a regular one I had not knowing there is one in the back. It didnt fit in. I didnt pull out the one in the kit, had no time. What is so special about it?

It puts the FUN in funnel.

Im assuming the design opens the flippy flappy in the fuel hole thingy where as other funnels are incompetent.

It's used because of the capless fuel filler neck.
The capless system has a special latch that requires a specific funnel design

I belief the intent involves needing it to push in the capless flapper thing in the fuel neck when/if you need to put gas in the tank from a gas can that can't get to the flapper.

The supplied funnel is matched to the flap in the filler neck that is present because of the cap less design of the fuel filling system. 🤪

It’s terrible. Just use the also new terrible gas cans and trim all the garbage off the spout and it fits right into the fuel fill without spilling like the white thing shipped with Fords. Even the new slow gas cans dispense faster than the white thing allows fuel to pass.

Those new gas cans are the worst. Amazon has replacement nozzles.

I'LL ask it. Hey, fellow Bronco folks out there in the wild. What have you found to be the easiest method to add gas when not at a gas station?

I like @604Bronco 's comment best. Puts the fun in funnel. Who knew they could be fun?

I mean technically it also puts the "FU" in funnel, if you wanted to take it a different route... 🤣

I have a TrailRax with the Pak Rax. I plan on hanging my jerry can from the rack and either using a pump or syphon to get gas into the tank. Much easier than lifting a full can (50 lbs) and pouring.
