Does anyone know for sure if M2DZ-11654-CC is still a good part number for a 2024? It’s the switch for front/rear fogs and mirror lights. Every where I look says 21-23 but I don’t see why it would have changed for 24. About to click checkout and wanted to be sure. Thanks

I was thinking of getting the OEM switch with fog , and getting the lights for the mod bumper - does anyone know if the wires are there and connected to the harness for the 2024s ?
So if I bought the new switch would it basically be plug and play?

Or would I need to wire it and add to the harness?

Thanks

i can verify the wires are the same!! success took me about 3 hours the hardest part was the torx screw that screwed into the bumper after the lights were installed

Did you cut and spice into the two wires? Been putting this off myself as well. Badlands modular bumper no front sensors

Yes I bit the bullet and I cut the wires about 3 inches shy of the harness. I soldered male crimp connectors to each one because I wasn’t sure which was right and which was left. I bought about 50 ft of wire that had both red and black in it that was weather proof. It was a pretty simple mod. I ran a ground back into the engine compartment I didn’t want to ground the lights anywhere close to the bumper.

Depends if you have front parking aid or not. Your signature says you have lux, which means the fog light connectors are already there at the bumper.

I have a 24 OBX with factory fogs. I’m planning to buy a modular bumper soon. Can I install aftermarket fogs and still use the existing factory connection?

I shared this in the general section but thought I'd share it here as well.

When swapping out my light switch to a dual fog (-cc) version it threw a ABS DTC error that refused to reset via Forscan normal method.

Final solution was connect forscan while in acc mode then start the engine then issue the DTC reset turn off and restart and the error finally cleared.

Hope this helps anyone else that had a similar issue.

You should always clear DTC key on engine off. If that is whT you mean.

Yes that's the recommend and "normal" way of clearing errors but this specific ABS error refused to clear with the engine off which is why I made the post.

I had a similar error on my Transit that had the same issue DTC refused to clear with engine off while in acc mode only way to clear it was while the engine was running. Sorry I don't remember if it was an ABS error or something else but it did the same thing.

I'm not saying try this first but if you get a stubborn error this might be your only option. Which is why I shared it.

Has anyone been able to get the fog switch working with on AUTO with the DLR? I know there is a way to enable to the fogs to be always on with the DLR but I want to be able to toggle on and off the fogs with the switch in this mode.

Haven't been able to find a way to do it in forscan.
