Hi, I have a 2023 Ford Bronco Sport Big Bend edition. When you move the selector to Drive, Reverse, the light indicator (amber) just flashes,
and when you remove your foot from the brake it goes back to park. It will not go into Drive or Reverse. It seems there is a safety function
that's stopping the Bronco from driving in any selection. I'm 100% disabled vet and would appreciate any information that doesn't put
me on my back. LOL

I can't tell for sure, but looks like there may be some water spotting in the shifter. Sports have been known to have the shifter fail if they get wet.

Is this the same Bronco sport you wrote about in December 2023? Jeez a wheez, Has it been broke this whole time? Make sure your "auto hold" button isn't pressed.

@ beachrat Well, if it was me Do the easy stuff first 1. E brake is definitely off 2. Auto hold button definitely not pressed 3. Battery charged, I might disconnect fully, then reconnect. 4. Check your screen for updates, since vehicle been down for awhile. Good luck, Looking forward to hear what the problem was.

All that has already been done including putting in maintenance mode! The amber light should stay solid the blinking in any gear selection tends to lean towards safety lock out!

Hi Rick! I can look into your Bronco's concern on my end. To get started, could you please send a private message over with the name/location of your local Ford dealer and your Bronco's VIN?
