Door Handle Lock Sensors Unreliable

The rear swing gate handle lock isn’t recognizing when I touch the handle. It seemed to start this when I began to get screen data informing things were being shut down to save battery. 2022 with only 14K miles so it doesn’t get driven for extended periods, mainly quick jaunts.

That's interesting. So, one door won't close completely, so all the locks try to lock but none of them do? That gives me some things to try. Thank you.

I was messing with my truck a little more and it doesn't seem to behave like yours....but it does make my locks act a little funky....so maybe.

I have a ‘23 badlands and I’ve noticed this exact issue and yes the 12 min cadence has truth. I’m worried about replacing the part for it just to be the same issue. I’m in Arizona so if it’s a temperature thing then it might change with cooler weather. Does anyone believe that there are changed made to the hardware?

I'm not sure you understood what I meant, but on the off chance you did, if you lock it then try to open with the key on you it will unlock it.
