I've been trying to track down some intermittent rattling on my front, driver's side door and think I finally found the culprit.

It's this plastic plate behind the door handle.

Anyone else experience this? or know how this comes apart? It looks like there's a spot to pry on the top, but I don't really wanna just start blindly prying on this soft-ass interior plastic.

Thanks!

Yeah just pry on that opening at the top with a pick and it should come out

Hi Derek! I can look into your Bronco's noise concern on my end. To get started, could you please send a private message over with the name/location of your local Ford dealer and your Bronco's VIN?

I have exactly the same problem. What was the solution?

I stuck a piece of padded, double sided mounting tape to the back of mine and it solved the issue. I haven't tried to pull it off since, but hope it comes off relatively easy, hah.

You could also probably use some mounting putty for something a little less strong?

Great, thanks for the update. Like you, I don't want to break anything. Was it as simple as sticking a pick in the top and pulling the trim piece out?

Yep! It comes right out. You have to open the door handle a bit to slide the plastic out, but it’s super simple.
