For Halogen folks: the third brake light wire is optional - only if you want the animated or amber turn signals. This is how on the non-signature lighting the Form knows the difference between brake and turn signal (signature lights have a separate wire for that).

If you don't run the wire, the turn signal will work just as it does on the halogens - red light, non-animated.

And if you do want - yes you would need to drop your stinger to run the wire, but you can mount it right back up once you have the wire run.
Good info. Guess I’ll have to drop it if I want all the functionality from moving on from these oracles.

Let me start by saying this is just a fair warning to anyone who is looking to upgrade your taillights.
I bought these direct from the manufacturer and at the time had only seen positive reviews about the company and their quality. My experience has proven to be less fortunate not once but now twice. The photos below are taken about four months apart and the issue is the same. The difference however is that the failed tail lamp on the drivers side from the first photo was exchanged for a brand new one seen in photo number two. The first lamp lasted 6 months or thereabouts from time of install as I left them in the box for about a year while I sourced the time for the install and more importantly the early Windows PC that could run the Forescan to even use the lamps. They were actually good about replacing this from the perspective of the normal warranty period as my procrastination with installation had passed the warranty period. I appreciated this very much actually.
But the process to deal with the requirements of that manufacturer and the hoops they force you to jump through was quite painful and not logical or convenient to the end user. To get the replacement lamp took about a month of back and forth plus they wanted me to remove the light for a build code before they would ship the replacement. Let's just say this is far from convenient and what I found when I finally did go to replace the lamp is that the plastic tab that pushes into the holder is very brittle and broke immediately upon removal. The second lamp lasted less than 4 months. I guess I'm going back to stock at this point.

I'll repeat this again, and again. Folks are better off staying with the OEM Signatures or upgrading from OEM halogen to OEM Signatures purchased off marketplace. Imagine wondering if your taillights are operating correctly everytime you drive. For the folks who are not currently having any issues with these cheap aftermarket lights, your days are numbered.

There's a reason the OEM head and tail lights cost so much... They are superior in quality.
I quickly learned this with a Form headlight failure... Was replaced under warranty but I'm still crossing my fingers they'll hold up!

i get to join this club too, drivers side oracle taillight is done after about 2.5 years. probably going back to my old halogen if i can find them.

do the factory LEDs work in halogen equiped broncos? i get they wouldn't have the orange turn singnals but does everything else work? I assume they'd just flash the outter red part for turn signals?

This is why I'm gonna go with these...I can't stand not having a seperate amber signal 🤷

As far as the failures everyone is experiencing...100% I bet it's a cheap, 3 cent resistor or capacitor...and not the actual LED itself failing.
And easy fix...if you don't mind baking and opening up your lights.

For those with halogen tails....has anyone tried the F150LED's kit? I currently have the flush Oracle's but am considering getting the running/brake light and reverse light kit from them. That way if the Oracle's fail I'll have those as a back up.

Don't get me going on Oracle...invested $$$ in their tail & headlights. Going to have a burn party soon & unless I prod the follow-up is nonexistent.

Waiting for these to fail so I can justify spending more $$$ on another brand, or just return to stock (only reason I kept OEM lights).

Shoot, hope mine last, going on maybe six months and love my Oracle flush mount tail lights. Not sure what Ford was thinking mounting big bulbous lights back there, don't want to go back to those.

I edited the Bronco settings via Forscan, to not use the extra resistor. Maybe that will aid longevity.

Compliance with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) regulations regarding rear and side visibility.

Regulations require that taillight elements (specifically side marker lamps, reflectors, and running lights) be visible from a certain side angle. By extending the light assembly past the main body panel, Ford ensures that the illuminated elements meet the required visibility angles, particularly when viewed from the side-rear of the vehicle.

Also, the Blind Spot Monitoring System is housed there.

We completely understand the frustration when something goes wrong, especially after putting time into your setup. Our Flush LED Tail Lights for the Bronco are covered under a 1-year warranty, and even outside that window, our support team does their best to help. If anyone is currently experiencing issues, the quickest way to get taken care of is through our tech support form here: https://www.oraclelights.com/pages/tech-support-form

Every returned light is tested and reported so we can continue improving reliability and learn from any failures we see in the field. We’ve had great long-term feedback from most owners, but we’re always looking for ways to make things better. We really appreciate the honest feedback here — it helps us keep improving and supporting everyone running Oracle products.

I often wonder how Oracle is still around. They have been making garbage products since the Genesis Coupes and the Gen 5 Camaro forums in the 2010s, and it continues. Yet, people do no research and continue to buy them. Vomit...
And yet some people who do buy will sing their praises because Oracle replaced their tail lights TWICE in a 3 year period.🙄🙄

My logic: if I’m gonna roll the bones, I’m doing it on the cheap.

Ditched that “buy once, cry once” mindset decades ago. Price does not equal performance or longevity. Neither does name recognition.

I accept that ANYTHING I buy has a risk of failure. And, while I my cry while swapping out a broken POS, it’s more of a sob when that POS is a hundred dollar part vs. a $400 part.
