New owner here. Bought a new Big Bend 2.3L, manual trans, soft top a couple weekends ago. Have put almost 500 miles on it (5 on the odo when I test drove it) so far and I love it! Everything works as it should. The engine is smooth, the trans is smooth, and carplay even stays connected to my iphone.

I lurked here on the forum for a month or so before I bought the Bronco and almost decided not to buy one due to the posts on this forum. I know folks are more likely to post when they have issues, but are any of you driving what has been a mostly issues free Bronco? It's hard to tell if the good ones outnumber the problems some times.

Here's a pic from our first weekend of driving around the Texas hill country backroads.

No issues... 2021 Big Bend Sas with 72K miles... I went on and did my 1st oil change at around 1000 miles to get all the metal shavings out 😬

I am past 50,000 miles.

Only issue I have is the motor for the windshield wiper fluid went out.

I still haven’t gone in to fix it. They don’t take reservations, and the turn around time just for them to tell you the issue is 48 hours.

I have a 24 2.7 and have about 3000 miles on it. Haven't driven it that much and with winter coming I will put it away and get out the trusty old subaru. I haven't had a bit of trouble with it yet and it will be a year old in February . Just love it.

My wife's 2023 has a water leak and drivetrain bind but it's also driven about 3k-4k miles a year...

Mine is almost at 30k miles and the only things that needed replacement was an alternator at 9k miles & the front camera (both warranty items).

The alternator was a situation but it was a fluke failure. The tow truck driver who came and got my Bronco even said that he was seeing tons of electrical issues & alternator failures on all makes/models. I really do not blame Ford/the Bronco for this.

I've said it before, but given my lack of issues, I don't think I'm getting the full 6th Gen Bronco experience.
Give it time?

I would assume so. This is, after all, generally an enthusiast group. Even FB to a point. You will generally hear about issues first. However the ford apologists are beyond annoying.

With that said mine has never left me stranded. But it is by far the cheapest feeling car on the inside I have ever owned and the quality is well below par. I have had a number of trips to the dealership for issues with the infotainment system and driver aids and such. Now the cheap interior materials are starting to show some concerns at the three year mark. I like the car a lot but it sure feels like Ford just tossed the interior together with little thought and care and built to smallest amount of money.

For context I am making my main comparison with the interior to JK's. Both new and used ones I've owned.
On the first bold, agreed. No excuse for a lot of the common issues. Especially the MIC top fiascos.

On the second bold, seriously? I thought the interiors of my two JKs were cheap, I haven't spent enough time in a Bronco to realize they're as bad or worse. The JL interiors are a far nicer place to be compared to the JK.

I liked my JL interior. The Bronco has been fine- no complaints. I chose a Big Bend and wanted a bit spartan. The JL had soft rubber in places like around the screen, came standard with dual climate and felt a bit more upscale but not fancy. Regardless, I certainly wasn't expecting luxury inside. These things are meant to get rained in, covered in mud and hosed out.

2023 Badlands, 2.3L, non Sas and not a single issue thus far. Well, other than Sync 4 APIM modules are terrible. About once a week I need to reboot the screen to get it to cooperate..

Some have went though several APIM modules so I am not going to even bother since it's random and intermittent..

2021 2door big bend, 2.7TT. Not a single issue, no hardtop issues functional or visually, no engine issues, nothing. All recalls completed and all passed with no fixes needed. Just remember people usually post on here the issues to find solutions, we don’t hear all the great stuff. Well a lot of good stuff but you all know what I mean.

21 Base Sas. No problems. Knock on wood. I even hit a deer at 80 MPH and only had to get an alignment.

I have had my Raptor since July 23 and no issues. Been rock crawling multiple times as well. I also hit a deer but don’t count that. That got me a new bumper. Kept the original as a spare.
