Ummmmm..... the Squash Package can be gotten without the HOSS 3, but the HOSS 3 can't be gotten without the Squash,.......“merged” there you go. Fixed it![]()
so I stand by my statement.

For $2500 the 2025 Badlands will come with Hoss 3.0, Fox 2.5” internal bypass shocks, HD steering rack from Braptor, upgraded rods, rear stabilizer, and upgraded springs. But that’s not the point.Ummmmm..... the Squash Package can be gotten without the HOSS 3, but the HOSS 3 can't be gotten without the Squash,.......

No, it wont. For $2500 the 2025 Badlands will come with Hoss 3.0, Fox 2.5” internal bypass shocks, HD steering rack from Braptor, upgraded rods, rear stabilizer, and upgraded springs.
For Ford IT IS still cheaper than assembling a whole lineup of vehiclesNo, it wont.
If you add nothing but the Hoss 3.0 package onto a 2025 badlands, it costs $7,395 more because you have to add the sasquatch package also.
100%! Exactly my point. People are saying it’s not cheaper, well it is not for you, the consumer. But IT IS for Ford. That’s what people are failing to understandOne reason it WASN'T discontinued is because it's a lesser rock crawler than the BL.It was too similar to the BL so they axed it in their quest to lower the number of models. If it were a true luxury model inside and out, they could've made an argument to keep it, but it competed with both the BL and the Raptor, so it got flushed.

Agreed, they've always been far too similar. Which always made it funny to watch people bicker about which trim was the "top" before the Raptor lolOne reason it WASN'T discontinued is because it's a lesser rock crawler than the BL.It was too similar to the BL so they axed it in their quest to lower the number of models. You mean a 4dr version with the extra weight and a bigger engine? I dunno, if they really wanted the top-of-the-line high speed version for that's attractive to the luxury set (which is where I thought the WT was aimed), a 4dr is a must. I see the Stroppe as a Mustang Bronco, a special edition. Not really a model to sell in large numbers.Agreed, they've always been far too similar. But, had they not came out with the Stroppe edition, I doubt the Wildtrak would be gone.
There was far less reason to keep the Wildtrak around when it would've essentially been 4 door only, since the Stoppe is basically a 2 door badlands/Wildtrak combined.
I think It was more so for aimed at someone that just wanted more of the newer technology with sasquatch already included, it just made it easy. I don't know if I would call it luxury per se. The only thing that made it more "luxurious" was carpet lolYou mean a 4dr version with the extra weight and a bigger engine? Carpet plus cloth seats. The mid package was standard instead of optional for 2024.I think It was more so for aimed at someone that just wanted more of the newer technology with sasquatch already included, it just made it easy. Right. Cloth seats aren’t luxuryCarpet plus cloth seats. The mid package was standard instead of optional for 2024.
I had been under the mistaken impression that the Lux package was standard. It was not.Right. Cloth seats aren’t luxury
Yes! Thanks for backing me up!No, it wont.

You fail to understand...... "most people" are more concerned with what it cost them and have very little concern for what it cost the manufacture. For Ford IT IS still cheaper than assembling a whole lineup of vehicles

The whole thread is about why Ford discontinued the Wildtrak. The subject here is FORD. So when I say it is cheaper to discontinue the widltrak and offer as a package. Who do you think I am referring this is cheaper to? You? LolYes! Thanks for backing me up!

Also.... my original comment was that you can't get the HOSS 3 on the Badlands WITHOUT getting the Sasquatch Package. Which @Ducati1098 also noted and you latched on to show your superiority.
So thanks for participating.
