With an 11k trade and 7k in incentives, we just bought a nearly fully loaded 2024 Wildtrak for $54k TT&L out the door. We've been waiting a long time for a screaming deal like this.

While we were working with the dealership, no one really had a good answer for why such an awesome trim like the Wildtrak was discontinued. Anyone know the "official" explanation for this product decision? I know my two main, albeit minor issue with the Wildtrak is its lack of full skid plate protection, as well as the missing rock crawler mode and lack of sway bar disconnect. Obviously not a show-stopper for us.

Before you ask why we didn't just get a Badlands, the answer is better incentives on the Wildtrak along with the HOSS 3.0 suspension.

Anyway, super excited to attend the Moab or Horseshoe Bay Off Roadeo and getting this beast on to the trails!

The Wildtrak started as was just an optioned Base with tint, signature lights and the ability to option the High/Lux package. Now with every Sas/BLs getting the upgraded rack, it's pretty much the same except adding a set adding a set of shocks. It really never should've been a trim to begin with. Sounds like a decent price, you'll love it.

Factory skid plate kit can be had through Ford Accessories for $652 when they have their 25% sales, and you can use your purchase points. Not worth it, if you have a 2-door (since they come with the gas tank skid already).

I think you answered your own question. The BL optioned out is a higher trim. The BL is basically a wild track with more. Don’t really need the WT.

To me, it doesn't make sense to offer the most advanced high-speed offroad suspension (other than Raptor) with carpet and general luxury standard. By all means offer the luxury as an option, but don't make me pay for it (and deal with getting dust out of the cushy interior) just to get the suspension.

Ford has “merged” the Wildtrak with the Badlands to create the new 2025+ Badlands sas. The updated Badlands Sas features the Hoss 3.0 and the stronger steering rack, Fox shocks, etc etc. along with all the goodies associated with the Badlands trim. This change addresses customer complaints about why their "rock crawling" trim lacked a robust steering rack, but is found in their desert racing model.

Both trims are quite similar with the Wildtrak missing the sway discos and some add ons. Given sales are on a low, hence the significant incentives and discounts to boost sales. It makes sense on a business standpoint for Ford to discontinue the Wildtrak. This decision allows the company to cut costs.

You can't get the Hoss 3.0 without also getting the Squash Package on the 2025 Badlands.

???? This doesn't make sense on a number of levels. For MY24 every Sas Bronco and every Badlands already had the updated rack.... And Fox shocks is only an option on the Badlands for $7300 (non-sas). And the the Staple 2.7 of the WT, isn't even an option on the 2 door Badlands. That's not a merge.

Uh oh, the trim police are gonna have a field day with this one...
Spot on. It is what is, now Ford can nickle and dime us more.
Wildtrak - just add a hardtop, I'm good
Badlands - which engine do you want? Sas or non sas? Ok. Suspension? Hard top? Cool, now you can forum flex cause disco..

Congrats OP, you're gonna love it!

Congratulations on the WT! Sounds like you got a sweet deal. It's been 7-1/2 months since I bought used and I still LOVE our 2-door WT.
