I cut 3 of the 4 in mine. Two, because I have my cargo tote (with air compressor) ratchet strapped down because I don't want it to be a projectile in an accident. The other one I needed accessible because when my Doberman rides with me, he wears a seat belt harness and I clip him to it. It was "hard" to accept cutting into a mat that wasn't exactly cheap but ultimately function won.

^^ Mine is the factory Braptor mat that I cut.. Not sure how it could possible shift as it touches the sides of the truck tightly....

I used a fine tip X-Acto knife with a fresh blade. No issues cutting. There are dashed lines on the underside of the factory Braptor mat where to cut. I used a black sharpie to dress the (lighter color) fresh cut. My liner around the cutouts is a little high as I had the liner upside down in my garage for a day, tomorrow it will settle down flat... Plus I store a fresh moving blanket and 2-3 towels under the liner....

Cut mine with an x-acto knife, leaving a flap to cover the cargo hooks when they are not in use. It looks fine!
