Looking for recommendations for camping chairs to keep in the bronco. Would like to keep three either under the back seat (I never put it down) or attached to a molle panel. Any recommendations?

So far really only looked at

Good idea - I have no good recommendations, I have some cheapo Dicks chairs but they are much too large to keep in the Bronco. Looking forward to seeing what gets posted.

I have one of those Cliq chairs. It's nice and compact, plus it deploys much more quickly than it's competitors, but it's not super comfortable for long periods.

Look for hiking chairs. I have two older Chinese ones off Amazon.com that I strap to a Molle panel on the rear window.

REI return policy is like Costco for camping

7" x 33" packed up, ours are about 10 years old and still going strong. Not light at 15 lbs but hold 300 lbs if you happen to share your seat with a friend :)

I bought the cliq chair on that last sale and i'm returning it. It sits at an angle with no head rest. I opted for the GCI rocker fat ass edition. It doesn't fold down small but enough to not get in the way in my two door.

I have a 2 door so space is a factor for me. I keep 2 Cliq chairs in the trunk, they're very compact but small and low to the ground.

For camping, I recommend REI's Camp Boss chair, it doesn't deploy as quickly as Cliq chairs but way more comfortable

I'm not into hauling half the house around and get by on less. I'm also not interested in lounging around for long periods of time. The camp chairs that stay in the Bronco are the smaller tripod style like this: Cabela's Comfort Max Tripod Blind Chair | Cabela's (cabelas.com)

I've got an expensive ultra light camping chair (Helinox I think) that was given to me, but I just use it at the house to tie my shoes in. It's not near durable enough to take the beating my outdoor stuff does.

I use these. They fold up nice and compact!

I bought them. They do fold up nice and compact. But, two inches of your butt isn't supported at the back. I recommend trying one out before buying them.

I'll probably sell mine if I don't take too big of a hit.

I love my Helinox. I’ve probably had it for 5-6 years and it’s always tucked in whatever I’m driving for any impromptu situations a chair might be enjoyable. Small and light if I need to carry it somewhere. I often forget it’s even in the truck it’s so small. Also like how it’s quick to set up and pack back away. And I’ve been surprised in how tough it is.

Mine is closest to this one I think:
https://www.rei.com/product/158016/helinox-chair-one

I’ve had a wide range of chairs, everything from my Cabelas zero g lounger (most comfy but hardest to pack), various collapsible bag type chairs, and my Yeti Basecamp (also bulky and hard to pack, expensive so I’m always worried about leaving it “out”,and honestly not super comfy). The Helinox gets the most use for its size and ease of use. Not a zero g lounger on the comfort scale, but I’d put it only slightly less comfy than the base camp. YMMV based on your body though. Good luck.

Thanks everyone- I made a spreadsheet of all the recommendations and the folded up dimensions. Going to take a look at where I plan to put them and decide. Seems like the Helinox is a good choice but still pretty pricey.
