Quick recap, just wondering if there are any opinions. Saturday 4/5 we leave to drive to Augusta in my wife's vehicle (more room for golf clubs). We get back Wednesday 4/9. Wake up Thursday 4/10 to go to work and bronco won't start. Tried to about 3 or 4 times, just turns over and over sorta acting like it wants to before it stops trying. No faults, no warnings. I let it sit for a minute and try it a 4th or 5th time and it starts up. Still no warnings. No trouble since.
Thoughts?

Fuel pump dying maybe????? Classic signs of it, crank but no start. Then after a few tries it builds up enough pressure to fire up. Just guessing here.

Battery needs replaced?
I’ll check it, been great since new with no signs of deterioration. I thought I had seen some people with battery warnings popping up, but again, I’m mostly ignorant. Thanks for the thought.

Any other symptoms with that? Just continue to happen?
Thanks

Just thinking that you have a '21 and if it is the original battery, then it is at least 3 years old if it was a late build or even older. It then sat for 5 days. It had trouble cranking and then eventually did so and no problems since.

It might idle ok but not drive very good, if you get my meaning. Hit the gas hard and it stumbles. Most times a fuel pump will get to a point where it just does not work anymore, leaving you SOL.

It could be as @Beach_Bum said an older battery setting for 5 days and being low enough on charge to try and start but not enough to start. What does your battery voltage read on the dash (IP)????? If it is above 15 volts I would let the Bronco run for 20/30 minutes to help charge it up. Turn everything off, no phone plugged in, etc. Let it charge. The Bronc will automatically shut off in 30 minutes unless you push the "ok" button when prompted on the IP. If you are not going to drive the Bronc much you can do this every couple of days, even multiple times a day to get a charge back in the battery.

edit: Just wanted to add do not leave the fob in the Bronc. It thinks you are going to start it and it will not "go to sleep". This would be hard on your battery, draining it.

Interesting. I always leave my fob in the vehicle. Has been in it since day 1. I have the keypad and obviously the app.

With the fob in the truck it's usually communicating w/ the truck...electrical draw is the result.

Have you put a tester on the battery (vehicle not running)? In addition to turning the starter there are numerous electrics that also need power.

Just happened to my 21. Had a water pump belt go out and my AC pulley out. Apparently that kept it from turning over? Shop fixing it now under extended warranty. Will see how it goes

I'd replace the battery and run diagnostics on the Fuel pump. Two Ford's that left me stranded, both were the in-tank electric fuel pump. One decades ago on an '88 Mustang 5.0. It was under recall, had first appeared in random hiccups on acceleration and finally died altogether on the side of scorching hot I-95 in south GA. The other was my '02 Excursion, last month. No issues in 23 years and 200k miles then it just won't start. Turns over fine, one time it caught, ran very rough and dies after about 20 seconds. Again, a new fuel pump solved the problem. Unlike old mechanical fuel pumps that worked until the diaphragm ruptured then didn't, the electric pumps flicker then eventually die. Hopefully a simple fix.

Make sure your floor mat isn’t overlapping the accelerator. If it’s pushing down the accelerator it will also produce a no start condition.
