Ford lost $8BN nonwonder they dont have any parts probably very slow payor. Been waiting 4 mths for.new turbo haha. No wonders terrified of CN vehicles.

A big chunk of that loss was EV-related write downs, but why let that get in the way of your constant bashing...

This is a new one after EV said they're not gonna make any money for a few years 2029/30 break even projected.

Blamed everyone else except themselves haha so typical of competition protected businesses ......of course they planned and executed perfectly LOL.

I'm not in the habit of defending Ford.......but the EV debacle is not a Ford induced problem. It was an issue industry wide. Even if Ford executed a perfect launch, the people are not buying the product anywhere near as expected. To say this is strictly Ford's fault is very short sighted and just wrong

Yes, the pressures - government regulation/incentives, but also the cultural hype train that had (and still does) everyone affirming that EV's "are the future" and "if you don't jump on board, you will be left behind Europeans, China, etc." were very very real.

On the other hand....where were those in the Corp. board room and management who said "wait a minute, is this top down directive from government really going to work, given the American taste (on both the left and right) toward liberty, individualism, and "don't tread on me" $buying psychology"?? I mean why leadership follow the crowd right of the multi-billion dollar cliff? Did NOBODY not see this coming?

I did - I never thought this "EV revolution" and "net zero by this or that date" was ever going to stick...I can't be the only one.

In any case reality came back hard - not just politically either - sales first and foremost.

I think Ford corp. leadership is mostly at fault for not doing what they are supposed to do and jumping on the (now proven false) hype train to the tune of billions and billions....

The Bronco has been running well, so I reached out to Ford to request extended coverage on the powertrain for added peace of mind. Unfortunately, the initial conversation was frustrating. I was told the vehicle had to be at the dealership for a warranty repair in order to open a case to discuss extending the powertrain coverage. I explained that it had just been in for a powertrain-related issue, but the conversation continued in circles for about an hour without resolution.


After that, I contacted my service manager to better understand what Ford was asking for. She called on my behalf and was given the same response. However, she escalated the situation by reaching out to her local Ford representative. Through that effort, they were able to secure some additional powertrain coverage. While it wasn’t extended to the 100,000 miles I had hoped for, I appreciated that Ford ultimately stepped up to provide additional support.
