Everything on my 24 Wildtrak technically works, but I have had some issues:
1. This is my 2nd wildtrak. Returned the first one the day after purchase as the driveshaft boot had shredded and slung lube all over the undercarriage.
2. From new, it has a weird ticking noise when going over off camber bumps, like something light and plastic swinging back and forth against the bodywork, rear left. Tried everything to find it and can't.
3. Low speed, low frequency rattle/vibration coming from the rear. Tried everything to find it and can't.
4. A few minor roof rattles.
5. And for desert, I noticed a leak coming from the Transfer case last week.

Had been putting off a trip to the dealer because it's always such a pain in the ass, especially to have them try to find a rattle. But when the leak developed, it was time to bite the bullet. Dropping it off in the morning.

A shame because I love the vehicle in general. It's quick, comfy, fun, and good looking. Great concept, flawed execution. My issues may not be all that bad compared to what others have seen. But, if I have one more used car issue on my new car, I'll trade it in a hot minute.

‘21 BD, 29k miles.
Window issues of rattling, repeated resetting of auto up/down function. Back to the shop again next week for the same f’ing thing. Window switch plastic broke. Rear doors rubbed paint off the body- adjustment/repair took a month. Dealer “adjusted” soft top when trying to fix the window noise and thoroughly f’ed up the rollbar paint in the process. 34 months in, and I’m starting to lose that loving feeling…which totally sucks.

In one of the threads about noises, this ticking sound from the rear/left was a wire that is left unconnected (I forget what for). This might be one of the droids you're looking for

Thanks! I do recall that. If I remember correctly that was for vehicles that did not have the tow package and it was the dangling harness for that which was causing the issue. I Do have a tow package on mine, but had checked it anyway, only to find it intact.

Just got mine back from being in the shop for 2.75 months for its first hard top replacement. Can't wait for the next warranty drop-off. Taking bets on whether it'll be the top, shocks, or cam phasers.

Finicky CarPlay and crappy plastic. Great otherwise. Had a bad precollision camera 1st month of ownership. 2 years now and all is well.

After 2 weeks and 300 miles, I’ve only had two issues come up. First, some wireless Carplay connection issues, but as noted these are common across all car brands. That’s not a Ford or Bronco problem. Second, the A/C stopped blowing cold air. In 40+ years of car ownership, I’ve never had to take a new vehicle back to tbe dealer for service within the first few days. The Service department identified a faulty discharge line as the cause. Hopefully I’ll get my Bronco back before the weekend.

Dealer resolved the transfer case leak; output shaft seal. Somewhat surprisingly, they also seem to have resolved the two major rattles as well. #2 above (loose wiring harness somewhere), and #3; Rear window seal (just dry silicone lubricant stopped it).

The only thing I dont like is the quality of the soft top. After one of the gas cylinder assist lift things seized up, it makes it a pain in the butt to put back up. I'm sure not going to pay Ford $800 or more for one of those. Not to mention, putting the side windows back on when its slightly chilly out. The canvas doesnt stretch for crap.

Previously, owned badlands had a leaking hardtop window and screen would sometimes black out.

My BL hardtop leaked like a sieve. Looked at a new Wildtrack yesterday and walked away after seeing drip stains on the clam shell rails.
