Ducati is right. There are plenty of previous threads on that break in procedure thread. Also check oil change intervals.
Guess you missed my /s and accompanying screenshot.

Also check correct oil to use. Also head to the Model T forums for those discussions.

Vary your speed and avoid driving at a steady speed for a prolonged period of time for the first 1,000 miles. No hard accelerations for the first 1,000 miles.

Yep I think that recommendation is in the user manual for the first so many miles, same for another different brand car I bought. I don't think the manufacturers would bother putting those instructions in the manuals, if there was not some validity. I recall it was mentioned the break-in procedure could add to long term life of the engine, for those who plan to keep their Broncos a long time.

Then there's the Corvette; the engineers specifically said, drive it like you stole it, like you want it to drive ongoing in its life. Don't baby it, don't "break it in".

I think the Corvette user manual procedure for break-in is similar to Bronco and other vehicles, actually seems a bit more stringent.

The ghost particles of dead Toyota 3.4TT, yes
Yes, but not due to proper manufacturing techniques.

Modern proper manufacturing doesn't leave debris, and no changing of the oil early would have prevented those Toyota failures.

As an oil and gas professional, I highly recommend changing your oil at a MINIMUM every time you fill up your tank. This has nothing to do with the benefit I might receive from an increase in demand, but because I care.
Lol :teehee:

There are probably a few hundred threads on everyone’s break in opinions. I recommend doing a search or scrolling down and clicking on all the similar threads.
Good idea. I'm pleased with the contribution of the good folks here. Might do a little more research later.
