I would like to put together a trail repair kit for my Bronco that would allow me to replace an inner tie rod if needed while off-road.
I have never changed a tie rod before, so I’m looking for:

Update: I received my 3rd replacement hardtop yesterday. It looks good...I pray it stays looking good! My dealership has been amazing, real advocates, very helpful.
The TSB from July 2025 is very clear on what is warrantable. I would recommend you printing it off and having it in hand when you are having your vehicle looked at.

UPDATE: My dealership has been fantastic. They conducted a thorough inspection and immediately agreed that the entire top needs to be replaced. The representative even acknowledged that these hardtops have ongoing issues and said they’re seeing this problem more often than not.
