The guy started braking 2 seconds after the very first blinker. Which came at the exact moment she started her lane change, not ahead of the lane change. The bronco doesn't stop on a dime believe it or not.

Curious as well. My Bronco has flashed a collision warning a few times, wondering in this case if it was able to anticipate anything?Did your collision warning or automatic emergency braking kick in at any point?
BBR DOWN!
Thank goodness for dashcam. Zero paint work will be needed.
Bull bar took brunt and scratched skid plates and bumper.
Going to diminished value attorney since carfax will be on this now.
Zero tickets etc for me due to dashcam footage and witnesses.

The one on his dash. Most important question... What dashcam?
True, but there is definitely an argument to be made and it probably will be. There was quite a bit of time elapsed when the white car first started to move over and the collision. When a lane is closed ahead it's common for those needing to change lanes to be a little aggressive or they will never get over. Honestly I think a lot of us would pull over in this situation. Nobody did anything particularly egregious and the main cause of this accident was the sudden stop of traffic just as the white car pulled over. This is your classic shit happens moment. Fortunately the damage is minor. On a side note people make too much of this Carfax thing. I had my tailgate replaced because I backed into a post. I got a trade in quote on my Base Bronco one year ago and they offered me the same MSRP I paid back in March 22. I'm not sure if its on Carfax or not, didn't want to pay just to find out.The problem with dashcams is that things look much farther away then they actually are in reality.
