UPDATE: 100% 0 Fault based on video.

0 liability and all repairs (all bolt on except paint for sensor bezel) paid for.

To all the absolute arrogant keyboard warriors on here shove it. The stress etc in situations like this and then to go ahead and pile it on here is sad.

A minor accident like this affected people including the elderly people in the white car unfortunately.

It was determined by ALL insurance companies I made the correct call to slow controlled as I did and do minimal
Impact to white car instead on going right or left into ditch. They judged I slowed in time etc based on Trail sights as some mentioned in this thread.

I am thankful no one was hurt and no structural or paint damage was done to Raptor. The 100 dollar bill bar literally saved the Raptor and my PPF saved what would have been paint scratch .

Wow, that was a pretty moronic move. Sucks when you drive one of these rigs, knowing they take forever to stop, and leave the magic room between you and the car in front, and some idiot swerves into your lane like that.

That's a shame that you got into an accident - but like 11811 replied, for various reasons shown on that video, you may want to reconsider showing it to the insurance company.

Other insurance company will say that you failed to slow despite a sign clearly stating that the right lane was closed, and that you were thus traveling too fast for the conditions.

The other car will clearly need repairs, and will likely file a claim with your carrier.

If you get denied and seek reimbursement from your own insurance, or the other guy gets denied by your insurance company, it’ll go to arbitration, and odds are that it will go against you.

Regardless, do not delete the footage, as that could cause you more problems than a claim going against you in arbitration.

Based on your dash cam, I can see why you did not get a ticket. But I can easily see both insurance companies viewing your actions as contributing to this incident. It is clear that you could have mitigated this situation, and you didn’t.

Dude, you should have slowed down when the person cut in front of you. If you could not have slowed down, you should have moved to the shoulder to avoid a collision.

Sucks to be in that situation, but this video demonstrates an extremely poor reaction on your part.

I agree with everyone else, you hd an opportunity to slow down and avoid this. The other car clearly indicated their intent to change lanes with a signal and had the room to do it. They did not "cut you off." You'll be paying for this.

Yikes, I was expecting something totally different. Guy used his turn signal (at the last second for sure) and it looks like you were doing one of those, "Oh no, you're not getting in front of me maneuvers". Never saw the front of the Bronco dive from you hitting the brakes, even when traffic was backing up.
