I'm looking to purchase black lug nuts for my black & white HE.

Does anyone have any recommendations regarding brands or more importantly which brand(s) to avoid.

What size and thread pitch/gauge should I be shopping for

Thanks in advance
I’ve got a set from Method I’ll give you if you pay shipping. West Coast Brand, splined, 24 pieces. Once you add wheel locks, you have enough for all 5 tires with one left lug nut over.

They were on My Bronco for a couple of days- when on, a bit of the solver machining on the wheel shows, and my OCD could not take it.

I picked up the Gorilla Spline drive lug nuts from CJ Pony Parts:
Gorilla 21138BC Bronco Lug Nut Kit 27-PC W/Key 2021-2024
It's a 27-piece kit, so it covers the spare also without having to buy extra. They also offer a non-spline drive kit if you don't want that.

Like @Brian_B 's picture shows, you will see a small ring of the hub around each lug, but it's barely noticeable and easy to ignore. Mine are holding up great (after 2 years).
at the Gorilla link listed, it states ... "are NOT designed for use on factory wheels"

I wonder what the issue is ???

I'm not sure, except to cause FUD and prevent people from having cool-looking lug nuts. They've been fine for me and avoid the whole 'Ford lug nut' issue.

I’m not certain but my guess: They are a bit narrower than stock lug nuts, but they fit the seats on the wheel fine on mine and torque up with no issues.

Just a note about the el cheapos ...
The off branded ones that came with my Methods (NOT from Method directly ... CARid.com) got pretty rusty after three years in the salt belt. Only about 30k miles at that.
The Ford Perf versions have my attention now.

Whatever you get, just make sure they are solid one piece, not the sleeved OEM garbage. CJ Pony Parts has a good lug nut selection, FYI...

anyone have any experience with the ones from ford? as far as holding up against chipping and things like that. any chance they'll survive an electric impact?

with the current 25% off of ford accessories, these have me tempted.

I bought them cause I didn't like the silver ones. Exactly the same just black. I first bought some MCGuard ones based on their saying it fit the Bronco and much cheaper but they didn't fit correctly. Returned them and got my money back. Go OEM.
