I'm looking to purchase black lug nuts for my black & white HE.

Does anyone have any recommendations regarding brands or more importantly which brand(s) to avoid.

What size and thread pitch/gauge should I be shopping for

Thanks in advance

I'm sure there are several places you can get them from. But just because I happened to spot them while browsing through the Ford Performance website earlier today...

I bought a set on AMAZON that had good reviews but are total garbage, chipping very easily! I just cut a funnel so it slips over the hex portion of the lug nut and hit it with a rattle can so it doesn't get on the rim. They do make black Titanium lug nuts but they are expensive as hell and I'm not willing to pay that much.

M12x1.5 conical or cone seat is what you should probably be shopping for

Gorilla and Mcgard are the two most popular aftermarket ones I see - at least for security nuts.

I bought Dynofit, but they are currently not available in black, total junk as far as chipping goes. I also have the McGard security nuts and they have held up well.

I have a set of Black gorillas. They have been through hell - they don’t look new, but a wash and some black sharpie here and there and they don’t look like trash either.

This is right now - covered in road dirt since it just rained here. 43k+ and a decent amount of wheeling on another set of rims

I bought Moshimoto and they have been great for the 9 months I’ve had them so far. They have faded a little but I actually like them better with the wheels I have.

I’ll second the Mishimotos. Mine have been great but they all faded except for the 7 point lugs. They kinda match my bronze wheels so I don’t mind.

I bought a set of black ones for my husband's Super Duty for Christmas this year from Alpha. I like that they are solid and not plated. He hasn't put them on yet - I'm sure that will happen Christmas Day. I'm kinda hoping there's a set for me under the tree this year, I have been a really good girl, ha!
Here's like if you are interested in taking a look:

I picked up the Gorilla Spline drive lug nuts from CJ Pony Parts:
Gorilla 21138BC Bronco Lug Nut Kit 27-PC W/Key 2021-2024
It's a 27-piece kit, so it covers the spare also without having to buy extra. They also offer a non-spline drive kit if you don't want that.

Like @Brian_B 's picture shows, you will see a small ring of the hub around each lug, but it's barely noticeable and easy to ignore. Mine are holding up great (after 2 years).
