That sounds serious. Have you seen a doctor? My butt was in tears from pain on long drives. But got the purple seat cushion (ultimate), and now my butt cries tears of joy.
I must be in the minority, but have never had any issue with the head rest.
I actually have to tilt my head back to touch it.
My 2000 Silverado had adjustable headrests (front to back and up/down). I used to keep my headrest as far back as possible to allow room for the backward hats I often wore.Far be it from me to be the voice of reason around these parts, but headrests are a safety feature. Them being forward is what keeps your neck from, you know, breaking in an accident
I think your picturing yourself as a rally car driver...I, like the OP, also bent mine head restraint back as the forward angle of the restraint does not allow you to sit with your seat in a more up right position. I prefer the up right position, picture a rally driver, as it allows me better access to all of the controls on my dash, and a stronger ability to properly pressure my brake pedal in an emergency.
If I was to have left the head restraint in the position from factory, I would be visiting a chiropractor on a weekly basis.
You mean you don't rally your Bronco?I think your picturing yourself as a rally car driver...![]()
Maybe denying a warranty for the seat/headrest.I'm surprised nobody has brought this up yet: altering this head restraint in any way will have your dealer denying any warranty claims. They're ethically bound in this way.
Especially for those who have purchased extended warranties, you will not want to alter your headrest in any shape or form.
You have been warned
You know so much that simply isn't true.I'm surprised nobody has brought this up yet: altering this head restraint in any way will have your dealer denying any warranty claims. They're ethically bound in this way.

Nope, for the whole vehicle. Also, if you have had previous warranty work done and the later alter the headrest you will be invoiced for the work done in the past. It's true, really.Maybe denying a warranty for the seat/headrest.
Ok STEVE, just what are you trying to say STEVE? How big a boy are you STEVE? I'm guess I'm gonna have to come down there and whip somebody's assYou know so much that simply isn't true.
You are dead wrong.Nope, for the whole vehicle. Also, if you have had previous warranty work done and the later alter the headrest you will be invoiced for the work done in the past. It's true, really.
I did, I use the internet, and that's how I know what they will do. They're very sensitive when it comes to safety... So much so not only are they going to void your warranty but anybody in your family as well. For example, if your wife drives a Ford, her warranty will no longer be honored as well, just for sleeping in the same bed with you.You are dead wrong.
By your logic, any modification... Lift, CAI, exhaust... Completely voids every part of the warranty.
Educate yourself.
Wow... You should be a fiction writer, or get on some meds.I did, I use the internet, and that's how I know what they will do. They're very sensitive when it comes to safety... Think about itIf even a small part of what I say is true, would you dare risk it? Of course you wouldn't! Which is why you're not going to... So go out there and bend that headrest back to where it belongs. It's the right thing to do
ROY D in da house!Nope, for the whole vehicle. Also, if you have had previous warranty work done and the later alter the headrest you will be invoiced for the work done in the past. It's true, really.
