My dream has been that with the new B&P and order sheets a rear locker in 4.27 or 4.46 may become available on the Base. Now with all the "commodity" talk I think that's hopeless, they're going to need all the lockers they can build to supply those trims that already offer it and all the Squatches. So Basquatch it is.
I'd be happy with a Base with bigger tires/wheels, advanced 4x4, and a rear locker or lsd..... but it's presently not offered. Going Squatch is overkill, but the best route to get the items I want.
I'm also hoping for additional drivetrain options for the Base!

End of the day, a basesquatch will be worth more than any other trim level without it, leaving out FE. Not the big tires, but the rest of what comes with it...

I've been on the basesquach wagon for a while but I really don't need it.

I've been thinking to go base with the v6 and add aftermarket wheels and tires.

Will 33s be okay with the 3.73 gears? What little research I've done tells me I really want 4.27s for 33s. Is it really that big of a deal?
Many other Ford vehicles come with 33" tires and 3.73 gears and they're just fine. If you are in doubt, go drive a new 2.7L 4x4 F150 and you'll see burning rubber is no problem.

If I wasn't going bigfoot I would probably paint the wheels black or get a set of Black Diamond take-off wheels. I'm going bigfoot because I imagine it will help resale on a base tremendously so it really doesn't cost as much as it seems. I don't like the wheels/tires very much but I'd like to have all the mechanical bits for when I decide to try something stupid ?

I wasn't aware they used this gearing from factory with 33s. So that answers that, thanks.

I'm of the same mind as you about the sasquatch package and have been since b&p came out. It's only yesterday I started to second guess myself.

I saw a new jeep willy's and really liked the wheel and tire combo and started to ask myself if I really needed anything more than that and if it weren't offered on base I wouldn't even think about it.

The resale value is a big selling point but I don't want to sell this.

Also it nice to have all the upgraded equipment but honestly my cherokee does everything I need to do and doesn't have any of that stuff and it's not even one of the old cool ones it the newer crossover suv.

Well I've got another month or so to figure it out.

My neighbor's kid painted his Mustang wheels black using a product called Plasti Dip. Seemed to work well. And several months later, he was able to peel off the paint with no issue, returning back to the stock silver color.
I need to look into that stuff!

There are youtube videos of guys painting their entire vehicle with that stuff. And then down the road, peeling it off. Not sure I'd go that far, lol. But it seems an interesting product for making reversible color changes.
Its easy to use. If you want to peel it off, go thick. If its too thin, its a painful to remove, been there done that, wife told me I was an idiot.

On wheels its easy to go thick, holds up well, my JKU wheels just starting to come off in couple spots, 4th year for the wheels.

That being said, I wouldn't do it again. I think it looked better, but when I look at the mustang wheels I bought, I am so much happier.

I’m looking at 255/85 16
I saw a 2-dr Jeep today at the ice fishing ramp that looked great. I thought that is the exact look I want for my Bronco. Went over and looked at the sidewall, 255/85/16. Not a lot of options in that size, BFG MT looks to be the best.

I think they will look great, and I doubt a lift will be required.

Try Cooper Discoverer ST MAXX, that's me if I don't Squatch

I like the cooper discoverer s/t Maxx too, but yeah, only 4 or 5 good options and they aren’t cheap either ??

Who is thinking about painting the Base wheels another color until others are available? I'm thinking flat black!
..My plans are ..getting a base..AMB..2.7..A10...and get the wheels and the roof, both painted black...I'd like to go mid black...not flat or glossy..but something in the middle...I'll talk to the body shop guy and pick his brain with pro and cons..

I will wait and see how the stock wheels look. With a beefy MT tire on it, the silver may look good. But if I don’t likeit, I will paint them gloss black like the Black Diamond. I’m up in air between Rapid Red and Velocity Blue On my Base.

Can pod lights be mounted on the standard bumper or would it require the modular and brush guard. I read that pod lights above the hood (factory mount is next to mirrors) are off road only, but I think they would look cool mounted on the bumper. I saw a video of them that way on the fishing concept https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/tour-of-the-bronco-outer-banks-fishing-guide-concept.8935/ but I couldn't tell if they were mounted on the bumper or brush guard?
If you look at the BB and Wildtrak, which use the base bumper, lights are mounted in a cut out on the outboard ends. If you look at the Base bumper you can see the cut out blanks. a hole saw and some home made brackets, wire and your done.
