I have a 22 Base with the 10 speed automatic. Occasionally I get a harsh upshift duirng light/moderate acceleration from a stop. I'm not sure which gear it happens but seems to be 1st to 2nd or 2nd to 3rd. The Bronco has 15K miles. Its very intermittent, can go for days without noticing it but when it happens can be very pronounced. Is this normal, should I get it checked out?

Probably normal. Under certain conditions the 10 speed skips gears. The wider ratio gap may be perceived as a harsh shift.

Mine is also harsh on the 1-2-3 upshifts at light to normal thottle. It is more pronounced when it's still cold. After fully warmed up, much less pronounced. I have the FP tune and it still does it.

Same, it seems to happen more in cold weather before fully warmed up, but not always. For me when it happens its a single isolated harsh shift, followed by smooth shifts. Its mostly random, not something I can make happen by driving a certain way. Somtimes when it happens I'll try to cause it again by accelerating at the same rate at the next light, and its nice and smooth! It has a mind of its own. Its probably the nature of the beast, but I have just one year on my power train warrantee.

Mine does it fully warmed up and tends to be in Sport Mode. Tends to be in 4th, 6th or 7th. Raptor, FYI. I am working with a tuner to try to tackle this. I'm pretty sure mine are mostly software/parameter issues. Mine did it both before and after FP tune.

Mine does this exactly. I can't tie it to outdoor temp, can't tie it to driving style, it just does it sometimes.
