One method that may help if you stick with the stock drain plug...do not take the oil filler cap or the oil filter off prior to pulling the drain plug. It will come out way slower. Then, once you have the stream managed pull the cap and proceed with the filter change. Works for me anyway.

I went with the "Brawny". I felt like it looked better in the pics, and it is most certainly named aptly. Seems like a very heavy duty cover and so far has been holding up great!

Yes, direct swap. Did it on mine. IIRC the end caps are not interchangeable. Nice bang for the buck!

Are both of these covers from the same manufacturer and website? The reason I ask is that the tan has piping around the diameter and does not seem to fit as well as the Sasquatch. I really like the way that one looks! Different materials maybe?

I am also in the market for a V2. I believe that is a V1 in that listing. The V1 has two black arms that extend straight out to support the front of the top. The V2 has two green arms that fold out to support the front.

Mine is also harsh on the 1-2-3 upshifts at light to normal thottle. It is more pronounced when it's still cold. After fully warmed up, much less pronounced. I have the FP tune and it still does it.

Just came across this thread, so far my hardtop is good. Pardon me if this question has been addressed but I am curious if the majority of the failures have been on tops that have been removed and remounted or if there is no correlation. I have never removed mine but I am considering purchasing...

Luckily it's pretty easy to add in your personal parameters. Except for boost pressure in my case!

More then likely they are just suggesting to tape up the end of the fog light connector. In my experience, yes only takes a few minutes to bolt on the bumper. The bumper bracketry did take a while for me though. Another nice factor of doing this swap is the modular has areas that are perfect...
