Are the Race Chip, Panda, and VR Piggyback piggy-back tuners different or just a rebranded Race Chip turner? Two of them told me that the hardware is the same, but the tuning is different. I know the prices are definitely different.

None of them have any actual “tuning” per se.
They’re just basically tricking sensors into thinking they’re not making as much boost as they actually are.
So the differences are probably very minimal.

Go with a real tune. The shift programing is well worth it 🤠 .

Hardware is the exact same, though there could be some minor differences in the configuration but don’t know for sure. They all advertise similar power gains.

IMO, if you’re looking for one built on that platform just buy whatever’s cheapest. I’ve owned a RaceChip for my 2.7L Bronco and the 2.0L Jeep before it. Never had any issues and would recommended them, though if you’re deciding between piggyback tuners then the Pulsar XT is my choice. Easy to use and adds quite a bit of power, though a little less compared to the JB4.

You are paying for the folks doing the tuning behind the hardware. The hardware is just the delivery method and doesn’t do anything by itself

Did you notice a defends with the Race Chip programmer?
