My steel bumper is showing some signs of rust. I'm guessing its where some rocks hit and chipped.

Anyone else got some rust going on? I know painting it is a way to stop it from spreading. But can I paint the steel bumper? Any other options?

Get Satin Black spray paint with a good primer paint combo at the hardware store like Krylon and spray some on a Qtip then just dab it on and almost like new. Let dry for a few minutes and do a few coats.

Once you get the paint touched up, I really can’t recommend CRC Marine Rust Inhibitor enough. I’ve applied it a few times, especially around the bronco bolts. Spray, wipe off excess with rag and forget about it. Once a season (assuming you have 4ish of those like we do in Michigan).

If it were me I would probably paint it with bed liner, Line-X, Raptor Liner, Rhino-Liner never need to worry about rock chips anymore

I got a 'little Rusty'...

Rusty says, "It makes Papa's truck look like it's properly used. I like it!"

After 2 years (this week), I am noticing some wear spots unfortunately. The screws holding the mudflaps and a little corrosion on the bolt heads for the beauty rings on a couple of wheels.

I was getting chips from dirt / rock roads so I ended up buying "Rokblokz" mudflaps that work Great!!!

Capable bumper tow hook pins started to rust. Changed them out for the red motorcraft ones. Also have the white DV8 shackles ordered, the red ones didn’t match the ford performance red. Had to order isolators too because the ones the shackles come with are way too thick to work with the motor-craft tow hooks.

My knock-off mod bumper has a few spots of corrosion where the finish has flaked off.

I have this one single effing rusty screw!

Same screw on both driver and passenger sides is rusty on mine too.
There's several items under the car that get a little rusty, so I just take a rag and coat those spots with oil after oil changes.
